Salem / Lisbon KOA, Salem, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Love that the playground has lots of shade. Site was level. Everything worked. Staff was very polite and helpful. We plan on returning. We stayed a weekend in a travel trailer with a pull through site. Site was plenty long enough for our truck and 32' camper. We camped at Salem / Lisbon KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Pymatuning Adventure Resort (formerly Pymatuning Valley Resort), Williamsfield, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay. Staff was helpful. Only thing that would make this place better would be pull through sites for those quick overnight travels on the way to other locations. We camped at Pymatuning Adventure Resort (formerly Pymatuning Valley Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Meadville KOA (Was Brookdale Family Campground), Meadville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This was by far the worst experience camping / rving ever. Owners are overbearing and rude. The site was mud. We sank at least 6 inches. Yes it rained but with a good base and some gravel this shouldn't have happened. Plan on needing 4wd or a tractor. The facilities were dirty, water pressure awful and everything was at the entrance that you must access through a gate. Kids have to pay to jump on a pillow for 15 minutes at $7. The owners are just horrible in their way of talking to people. We left a poor review on KOA after checkout and were promptly emailed threatening, condescending message from the owners about how we are bad parents and leaving poor reviews will block us from using other KOA's in the future. In short AVOID THIS KOA! Save the headache and go elsewhere. In fairness to KOA's this has been the only place I have ever visited that I wouldn't return to. We camped at Meadville KOA (Was Brookdale Family Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Madison / Pittsburgh SE KOA, Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great experience. Staff was helpful at all times. We stayed for a week in July and had a blast. Kids loved the jumping pillow and play area. Pool was broke first day, but they quickly had a company out to repair it so the kids were able to use it the rest of the week. Fishing was even good in their pond. We will be back! We camped at Madison / Pittsburgh SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.
