Always a good time camping here. Sites are good size. Nice beach on a small bay for swimming (no wake zone). Nice Trout pond with small dock for row boats only. We camped at Monument RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lopez Lake Recreation Area, Arroyo Grande, California

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Tucked in the mountains east of Pismo Beach, this campground has a lot to offer. There's fishing, boat rentals, water slide park, zip line, rope climbing, hiking and swimming. The wild life (deer & turkeys) is everywhere and so tame. We had a great time. We camped at Lopez Lake Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Pismo Beach is just 15 miles away with the beach, pier and lots of Shopping. Also Avila Valley Farm is just up the highway. Great food, fresh veggies and the best pies you have ever had.
