Candy Hill Campground, Winchester, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice place. Well kept, we have been stopping by for approx. 8 years, twice a year. It is a bit crazy on holiday weekends and you need to reserve well in advance but it is totally worth it.

Nice friendly people, clean open campground, nothing better in the area.

My only complain is that you get only 1 hr of free WiFi every 12 hrs, if you want more you have to pay 3.99$ for the 24 hrs, I have told them many times that it is being cheap! Especially considering the price to pay to stay there.

Other than that, perfect campground! We camped at Candy Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye), Luray, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is absolutely fantastic! We were greeted as family friends. It is situated in the most scenic spot, surrounded by the mountains. The place is immaculate, the washrooms and laundry room are cleaner than a lot of private houses! We will definitely make a detour to go there again. The lots are large and perfectly leveled. We camped at Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye) in a Travel Trailer.

Ocean Waves Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is the third month we spend in Ocean Waves. April 2006, September 2006, and last month. Great place, clean, friendly, right on the beach, and great price. Does not get flooded in a storm and is well protected by the dunes. We are going back and back. We camped at Ocean Waves Campground in a Travel Trailer.
