MamaYeh RV Park, Prince George, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

The other reviews were all quite true. This place is a work in progress and the owner is helpful. Only the back-in sites were available for Passport America, but that is OK with us. Our big problem was that we were there in June after some very heavy rain. The interior road was so soft and a mix of mud and gravel that our motorhome made huge ruts. The owner came and fixed then with his bobcat! Our site was more firm, but I worried about getting out for the two days we were there. That's my problem. We made it out OK. Mosquitoes made it impossible to go outside. Glad we were self contained. There were porta potties as restrooms. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

Northern Lights RV Park, Dawson Creek, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to get into. Great laundry room. Change machine for Canadian $5, $10, $20. Was $3, dry $2. Just a gravel lot with a little grass between, but had good hookups and our Dish Network satellite worked a little. There was cable too. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bluebell Inn & RV Park, Fort Nelson, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This was just an overnight stop on our way north on the Alaska Highway. We had spot #34, a pull=through that was perfectly level, and because it was the first site next to the motel, the WiFi was great. Also, the building blocked any road noise from the highway, and because it was a big gravel lot, there were no mosquitoes! We camped at Bluebell Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

New Salem Village, (free) is a reconstruction of village where Lincoln was in his 20's. In park, walk from RV camping area

Illinois State Fair Campgrounds, Springfield, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Gate 10 does close early, gate 11 is open all night. We stayed down in asphalt parking lot so we would have good satellite reception. Had full hook ups, 50 amp. The fence referred to in another review was a guard rail set up, and really no big deal to get to the sewer hook up. Price was a good deal! Go in Gate 11. Office opens at 11:30am. Can be full at Fair time, or big events. Check ahead. We camped at Illinois State Fair Campgrounds in a Motorhome.
