Devils Tower KOA, Devils Tower, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Average park in a beautiful setting. No cable. No off-air TV for those that want that. Right outside the entrance to Devils Tower NP. Some tourist trap stores located across the road ($2.25 for a $.30 shaker of salt.) Showers so-so. 1st night very quiet. 2nd night a charity group started at 6 pm. Music got louder at 8pm. At 11 pm they turned the music down. At midnight organ music from a horror film! I fell asleep right after that but woke up in time for the 2 am bingo game! It ended at 2:30. Would have been nice if they'd have warned us. Extremely inconsiderate of them. 10 for setting. 4 for facilities. 0 for lack of consideration and noise. Overall 1. My wife and I saw deer, fox, antelope, and turkey in the area. Still, I would think twice about staying here again. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

American RV Park & Kamp , Murdo, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived on 7 May. One week after its opening for the season. No showers, no toilets, no pool, no spa, no WiFi. From the reviews I expected more. Really disappointing. No maps or instructions to show location of showers, toilets, trash, etc. A city road ran through the campground. They had cable TV and full hookups We camped at American RV Park & Kamp in a Motorhome.

Bastrop / SE Austin / Colorado River KOA, Bastrop, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

A really great park. It has a lot going for it. Unfortunately, it has a lot of noise from the nearby highway. Still, it has a lot going for it. The entry is tricky and not well marked for the unintiated. They also have a gated entry that requires a code at night. Unfortunately, the code didn't work. Thought it was just us until two people couldn't get it to work either. Luckily for us, our friends dropped us off and we were able to walk in. Don't know what happened to the others. Because of the noise, I doubt if we would stay here again. We camped at Bastrop / SE Austin / Colorado River KOA in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park was a bit pricey but it was quiet. It is the only park I've been to that not only knew about RVparkreviews but actively sought positive comments for this site. The goody bag was pretty cool and was probably worth $10-$15 with granola bars, teas, and a battery operated razor. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

A very good park. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Told us about the Living Desert Park which was well worth the visit and a highlight of our 7000 mile trek. Great hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Motorhome.
