Roadrunner RV Resort, Red River, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park to vacation in Red River. Appreciated the security for park guests. Premium sites are on the river. Most on the river sites are wide and sufficiently long enough for rig and vehicles. All sites are dirt or gravel and sufficiently level.. The dog run was nice. Office staff were very helpful. We have made reservations to return in 2019. We camped at Roadrunner RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Red River is a wonderful jewel community to visit. Climate is wonderful, cool at night and average temp in daytime. There are jeep tours to old gold mining towns, trout fishing in town or lake outside of town. Many activities for families to enjoy.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The cleanest park we have ever stayed in. We were passing thru toward New Mexico so spent one night. Sites were concrete, level and overall atmosphere was excellent. Staff were welcoming and quickly had us checked in and on our way to our site. Dog run was easily accessible. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Skyline Ranch RV Park, Bandera, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient to town and quiet, restful atmosphere. Enjoyed watching and feeding deer, donkeys and watching the two longhorn steers. Nice walk to Medina river. Bank is steep down to river but worth the effort. We were with friends and our sites 155 and 157 were not level. Low hanging tree branch hindered being able to pull to optimum level. That would be only complaint. Would recommend site 157 for great view of pasture. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring deer corn to feed herds of deer that come into park in evening. Donkeys like to corn, apples and carrots.

Oakwood RV Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Only complaint is sites are too narrow. We couldn't let our awning out but for a few feet and even though we parked as far as possible from neighboring site our big slide encroached at least 1 ft. on pad next to us. Park is convenient to downtown Fredericksburg. We camped at Oakwood RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Frog City RV Park, Duson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Manager was friendly and helpful. Park was quiet and easy access to Interstate 12. We would stay there again when passing thru Layfayette.

WiFi is public and so slow I gave up trying to access service. Cable service excellent. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

River Country Campground, Gadsden, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park is beautiful and very clean. We were just passing thru but would love to come back and spend a few days there. Only negative was not convenient to Interstate but worth the extra miles. Enjoyed the walk around the water and great place to walk our two dogs. We camped at River Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Smoky Bear Campground, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Owners very helpful and friendly. We had problems with our tow dolly and they lent us the wrenches needed to fix. Back in sites were gravel which was a little hard to walk on but other than that everything was great. Would definitely stay there again. We camped at Smoky Bear Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We were passing thru and found the park very clean and managers very friendly and helpful. Location is just far enough away from Interstate to be quiet. Our pull thru site was level and long enough for our motorhome and tow vehicle. We would stay there again when passing thru Nashville. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Cincinnati South Campground, Crittenden, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Site 49 was not level. Placed three block under motorhome and afraid to put anymore and still not level. No TV reception at all and no wifi signal. Noise from highway existed but inside of coach was not a problem. We paid for three nights but left after two nights. Would not recommend at all. We camped at Cincinnati South Campground in a Motorhome.
