Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

At the last minute, we called and got sites that back up to the river. The view out the back window makes up for the road noise. We have enjoyed watching the eagles that are hanging around. Lots of grass for dog walking and the entire campground is very well manicured. Great satellite signal available. We drove down to YNP north entrance one day since it's about 30 miles down the road. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Watchman Campground (NPS Campground), Zion National Park, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend in the "B" loop. The "B" loop really needs to close down for a year for a complete renovation. The sites are nothing but dirt outlined with dead trees. The ants were horrible - literally everywhere. We were fortunate to be camped next to a group that loved climbing up to the top of the rocks above our site and screaming tarzan sounds to their friends for a couple of hours each evening. Such a disappointing national park campground experience. We camped at Watchman Campground (NPS Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Shenandoah River State Park, Bentonville, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We are regular users of this park and normally love the place. This weekend we were infested with ticks that were carried in by our dogs. For some reason the park has decided to let the tall grass grow in the RV park and is cutting the bare minimum around the sites. On our normal walks around the loops our dogs would pick up ticks just walking in the grass. They don't seem to be small deer ticks but no tick is a good tick. If you have young children, I would not let them run around or play off the gravel sites because of this problem. We camped at Shenandoah River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground, Fort Pierce, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night on our way to Key West. The campground is right between I-95 and the Florida turnpike. The office staff and host were friendly and very professional. The pull-through site we were on was great. Plenty of room between the sites and the landscaping is beautiful. Bonus was we could wash our campers which had the fronts covered in bugs from our drive south. Would stay again. We camped at Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Savannah Oaks RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I am disappointed that this place has "resort" in their name. There is no resort here. The hookups are old and are not maintained. The cable is a joke. You get 40 channels but can't see them through the snow. We are up near the road, and the noise is terrible. We have never stayed someplace that the A/C and fan did not drown out the outside noise until here. The sites near the river are much quieter. Roads need some new gravel to keep down dust. Disappointed and will not stay here on our return through the area. There has got to be better. We camped at Savannah Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Arrived here after a long day on the road. We called ahead and someone met us at the office when we arrived. It was pouring rain but the roads in the campground were in pretty good shape (no mud). Nice spacing between the sites and a nice area to walk the dogs. We camped at Oakdale KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Custer / Mt. Rushmore KOA, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very disappointed in this campground. The sites were close together. The place needs new gravel on the road and sites. It was very dusty and dirty. There was evidence that someone rinsed out their sewer house behind our site. The people next to us threw a bunch of their trash into the field behind the sites. It seemed like the kind of place where that kind of behavior was acceptable. We won't be back. We camped at Custer / Mt. Rushmore KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We were very impressed that we could wash our camper and truck after the long drive across country. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spent the night here while traveling. Pull through sites were very close together, but they were level. For some reason there are very bright overhead lights. I could have read my newspaper outside after dark. Nice field to walk dogs. Also saw evidence that people do not always pick up after their dogs. We camped at Grand Island KOA in a Travel Trailer.
