Wells Beach Resort Campground, Wells Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Since it was in early June the price reflects off season rates. Black flies were biting but that's not the campgrounds fault. We camped at Wells Beach Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Prospect Mountain Campground, Granville, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. Campground was packed yet it didn't feel crowded or noisy. Lots of trees. People were friendly. A good sized campground that's pretty far off the highway but worth the ride. Lots of nice cabins too. Be aware there is a big hill, 9% grade to climb to get there but after that it's fine. We camped at Prospect Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.

GrandView CampResort & Cottages, Moodus, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

We held a family wedding here in their hall. The entire staff was wonderful, extremely helpful and accommodating. We can't say enough good things about them. The grounds are lovely with a pretty view. The restrooms were clean. We rented most of the cabins for guests who found them very comfortable. Its a very peaceful place. We camped at GrandView CampResort & Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We held the wedding rehearsal dinner at the Town Tavern in East Hampton about 10 minutes from the campground. Excellent food and service.

Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here on a busy Columbus Day weekend and an apple fest in the area and they squeezed us in last minute with our small trailer. Nice staff in the office, clean bathhouse. Our site was large, wooded, with a fire pit. Even though there were many campers there it was surpringly quiet. Firewood was dry and a good deal. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Spring Valley Campground, Cambridge, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for an overnight on our way through Ohio. This park is right off interstate 70. So convenient! Friendly staff in the office! Firewood available. We didn't use the cable and the pool was closed for the season but looked nice. The other campers were friendly and waved as they passed by. Our site was tidy and mostly level. Bathhouse was ok. Not enough dressing room space for changing but large shower stall with great water pressure. The staff in the office also gave us great advice and directions for our next stop! All in all a great value and nice place. Oh yes, there is some noise from the highway but not a big deal. We camped at Spring Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.
