About docsouce

My wife and I started camping 2 years ago. We rented a class C RV,spent the weekend in Vermont and were hooked. We bought a new 22 foot class C and have been across the US twice...so far. I just found your web site this last winter and found it to be a great help. I'm retired now and have time to add some personal opinions of the campgrounds we have visited.

Havre RV Park, Havre, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park. They are affiliated with the motel next door and offer a nice indoor heated pool with a sauna and poolside bar. There are very good restaurants within walking distance which gave us a break from cooking in. Our site was more of a parallel parking site than a pull through, which was ok for our class C with no toad, be tough with any other combo though, there were back ins available. The showers and restrooms were spotless and the park is clean and neat. Very helpful and friendly employees. The rail yard is right behind the park and Route 2 is in front so it is not the quietest park. We stayed here for one night and would certainly stay here again. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Huge sites. Wonderful scenery, and great service. We stayed here for 2 days as a break form our cross country trip. Very relaxing and quite. We walked to the interpretive center. There are some very interesting displays and good information there. Well worth the walk. The 30 amp power was good, cell phone reception was OK. Another gem of a campground. We camped here in our motorhome. We camped at Downstream COE in a Motorhome.

Indian Hills Resort, Garrison, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

An off the beaten' path camp that was suggested to us by a fellow camper. The customer service is incredible. We took a wrong turn and the owners sent a person to guide us to the park. The RV park is on a hill but the sites were level. This is an absolutely beautiful location. The view of Lake Sakakawea is truly amazing. There were quite a few RVs here but it is deceiving because they are spread out over a large area with big, grassy sites. Quite a few hiking trails. Our 30 Amp service was good. There is a well stocked convenience store on site. We camped at Indian Hills Resort in a Motorhome.
