Tombstone RV Park and Campground, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

No problems with staying here. We've booked for next year. Good management, good walking trails, good pool. WiFi is better than dial-up. Verizon bars suck, I guess due to location. Location is quiet, nearby town of Sierra Vista is excellent for shopping and eating. Water froze up three times even with electric hose. Electric high at .19 per kwh. Propane convenient but at least .50 higher than other venues. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park), Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $36.00

Nothing outstanding, but nothing negative. Easy access from I-10. Room to maneuver in park, quiet, well maintained. Utilities well placed in lengthy pull-through. Would stay here again. Stayed here four nights. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy, but everything you need: roomy spaces, level spaces, good utility service with well-placed location. Excellent Wi-Fi, cable tv (didn't use), restaurant on site, easy on and off I-10. Worth the money and time spent. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oakwood RV Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, efficiently managed. Level gravel site (#96). All hook-ups good with convenient location. Pretty well had to take car off dolly to allow room for others (going to use it anyway). Park in front of MH. Good Wi-Fi. Somewhat tight for getting around in a 40', but doable. IMHO the rate is somewhat high, but that is the case across the board in F'burg whether it's RV parks, hotels, cafes, gas, etc... People keep on visiting. We camped at Oakwood RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Timber Ridge RV Park, Bryan, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Concrete roads and large concrete pads. Level pads, easy maneuverability, hookups all located in same landscaped area near center/rear of pad. Free wi-fi is above average most times. DirecTv available through free cable (didn't use). Permanents ALL neat and squared away. No barking dogs heard. $435.00 per month plus $100.00 elec. deposit. Rig washing evidently o.k. Laundry available, didn't use. Great location to Bryan, College Station, and A&M. Recommend this one. We camped at Timber Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

WalMart right down the road. Plenty of eating places within 5 miles or less. Freightliner, Peterbilt, Mack, etc... all have shops in the area if needed for MH pm or repair.

Indian Woods Campground, Hilltop Lakes, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Park is pleasant enough, certainly away from any noise makers (trains, industry, highways etc...). Facilities are showing age, grounds could be kept nicer, but park is generally clean. Heavily wooded, good setting but not good for tv dishes. Gravel sites need attention or refurbishing to get closer to level. Some permanent residents but no slippage is apparent. Fire ring (piece of a barrel) needed replaced. Railroad ties marking site were busted up. We camped at Indian Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Wagon Master RV Park, Sanger, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

All elements satisfactory as far as utilities, length and width of space, maneuverability, and staff attitude. Wi-Fi is evidently a minimum of $7.00 for 24 hours usage, nothing was said about this, you discover what the set-up is after logging on with the provided info. You don't have to take it after logging on. Signage needs to be more prominent on FM488. I drove by and went another two miles or so before able to turn around. Somewhat dusty, nothing unusual. I'd say this is a $28.00 per night park but the proximity to I-35, o.k., and the alpacas (God's coolest creatures) are worth the present posted rate. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Motorhome.

With the qualification that I-35 is most always congested and being worked on, this park provides good home base for Dallas area and Fort Worth area (via I-35W or TX121).

Buffalo Bob's RV Park, Lawton, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Barking dogs, low water pressure, bathrooms needed a thorough cleaning due to nasty toilet bowls, dead bugs everywhere, cobwebs in obvious places. Utilities at back of nice concrete pad (pad sloped on end where utilities are), bring extra sewer hose. We camped at Buffalo Bob's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent location, excellent access, excellent roomy sites, good electric, water pressure, and sewer. Wi-Fi best ever. Excellent owner host. No better deal on the road than this. Kinsley has its charm, but larger towns are minimum of 35 miles away. We camped at 4 Aces RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lost Alaskan RV Park, Alpine, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed three nights out of a scheduled four. Had to leave a day early, no refund for the one night per their posted policy. I guess that is reasonable. Good, quiet, seemingly tended to on a regular basis. We would stay again. We camped at Lost Alaskan RV Park in a Motorhome.
