Mountain View RV Park, Bowie, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Not a fancy place, but certainly a good place for the price. Registration is in the store on the property and the lady was helpful, pleasant and professional. Utilities are conveniently located, roads are gravel but in great condition, wifi is free and pretty good. It's obvious the owner is working to turn this park into an even nicer place. Fun to see the trains go zinging by (no crossing near, so no whistles). We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We walked to the downtown shops, then had dinner right across the street at a good burger joint. Try the bison burger across the street at Big Al's .... yum!

Wasatch View Estates and RV Park, Ogden, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Okay for an inexpensive overnight stay, I guess, but might not be the place for you if you're particular. We only connected to electric and it was conveniently located and reliable. Site was level. Didn't notice any highway noise, but permanent resident dog noise was annoying. Dog feces on the ground was visible in quite a few places. Very large place with quite a few permanent mobile homes and old rv's. Site was a pull through, of sorts ... Was led by attendant to drive across the side of the occupied site behind us to make it that way. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sonny's RV Park, Lexington, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We were passing through and needed a place for the night. This park is good for that! Full hookups are conveniently placed. Pull-through site. Super friendly and helpful staff. Far enough from the highway that noise wasn't a problem. Shower house is clean, supplied and the water is hot! Some of the park looks as though it could be a muddy place when it is raining, so watch for that ... We camped at Sonny's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cactus Rose RV Park, Mingus, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice little park and nice folks checked us in. Grounds are well groomed, sites are level with well placed and reliable utilities. Common area buildings are in good clean condition. However, if highway noise bothers you, you'd be better off to stay elsewhere ... truck traffic along 1-20 is very close. We camped at Cactus Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Joy Land RV Park, Tonopah, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Although the electricity seemed reliable and the campsite was fairly level, not much else was good about this place. Restroom/laundry facility, while a fairly new and decent building, was filthy beyond imagination. Strange place with three different lots spread out along a road in a quite run down part of this little town. We camped at Joy Land RV Park in a Motorhome.

De Anza RV Resort, Amado, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a seriously fine RV park. Superb facility and well-managed. This would be a great place to spend an extended stay, although we stayed just four nights. Campsites are spacious, many with great views of the mountains. Utilities are first class, public meeting places, such as fire ring and meeting
/activity building, are clean and cheerful. We camped at De Anza RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Southern Star RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Good access to level campsites, roads in good condition, utilities well-placed and reliable, good restroom/shower/laundry facility. Very nice activities building. Sites have good tables on concrete pads. Pleasant couple running the place and working to correct some deficiencies, such as dead trees, that are a result of the two-year bankruptcy/closing period. We camped at Southern Star RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tropic Winds RV Resort (55+ Park), Harlingen, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Overall a good park. Office staff is pleasant and helpful. Many activities, although it seems the permanent tenants tend to be cliquish. Good roads, well-placed utilities, reasonably sized sites, but no picnic tables. Only complaint was the man who runs the big riding mower ... he was rude and inconsiderate as he mowed what really didn't need mowed as a wash/wax vendor worked on our rig. He acted quite inconvenienced by the water hoses, buckets and brushes and simply ran his machine within inches of those workers and me. I attempted to get his attention, but he wouldn't even make eye contact. We camped at Tropic Winds RV Resort (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Walnut Grove RV Park, Merriam, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Prices going up, but improvements are slow to get accomplished. Every site was occupied, so revenue is probably pretty good, but about all we saw improved from a year ago was the fence in the east parking lot was freshly painted, although a quite hideous color. The young lady employee who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Sites are small, gravel, many not level. Site numbers are easy to see. Loop road is paved, but has several poor sections because of some sort of utility work. Electrical is about 110 volts and reliable. Registration building has been repainted, but also a weird color. Water is from city of Merriam. Sewer connections are maintained properly. Laundry facility is adequate. Restrooms and showers are reasonably clean, but need work. Trash dumpster is conveniently located. No picnic tables or fire rings (although they sell fire wood!). Trees are big, but not nearly as many as there were because tornados and storms have knocked some down. Pricey for what you get, but not much competition. Please read other reviews for more information if I haven't addressed all you need. We camped at Walnut Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice place, pleasant owners. This was near the end of season, so the park was very quiet. Well kept grounds, level sites. Utilities in the right place. Our site didn't have sewer, but there is a dump station. We camped at Goodland KOA in a Motorhome.

Chief Joseph Park, Harlowton, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Good and simple option for an overnight. Sites are level, night lighting is excellent. Very quiet. Grass is mowed nicely. Skip the electrical hookup and save $6 (we opted to use it, however, to run AC). Very pleasant gentleman comes around to collect fee. We camped at Chief Joseph Park in a Motorhome.

One of the best! Super clean and neat. No nonsense tolerated. Owners live on property and are very proud of their park. Virtually everything is impeccable. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.
