This is a smaller campground and not very busy. Everyone was very nice. The owner stopped by our site to talk and I found out that they are new owners. They have a nice fishing pond, if you need bait, go to CoGo's just down the road.

My Husband and I just recently bought our first camper, a pop-up. We have tented before. This was our first trip with our camper! As a kid my family had a permanent site here, when it was called Wolf's Den. We enjoyed our weekend. The only little thing I didn't care for was that there was a dirt patch right outside our door. I thought that it being the beginning of the camping season, that they would of tried to get some grass growing. Our friends site right behind us had big ruts, which wasn't fixed from last year. All the campers were very friendly including the staff. We loved that they had a fire truck ride, climb on up and listen to some good music, talk with campers and a good way to see the campground.

My husband and I had a nice weekend. Our site didn't have grass because of the pine trees we were under. Out site had water and electric, we asked at the office which sites had sewer. There are only 11 sites with all three hookups. The rest are permanent sites. They also stated they like to keep the pop-ups in a certain section (near the bath house). At the end of your stay we went to reserve a site for Labor Day and she wasn't very nice. We asked to be in a certain area because we wanted to be near our friends with full sized campers. I think she wasn't accommodating because we have a pop-up but we don't need to be near the bath house because we have a toilet/shower combo. That was the only time the staff wasn't friendly or helpful. Also, if you like to fish they have a catch and release pond. I didn't see that stated on their website.
