Blackstone North RV Park, Fresno, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Needed a one night stay, arrived after hours. 2 spots are saved for late arrivals: one 30 amp, one 50 amp - need more 30 amp. Park is quiet, but the street is VERY noisy with hot rod and motorcycle noise. Great showers. We camped at Blackstone North RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Gate RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for an overnight on way south on I-5. Very close to highway, but noise somewhat abated by all the trees in the CG. Concrete pads separated by grass, some have trees. Perfect for a rainy overnight. Staff very friendly, all accommodations clean. Many long term occupants, but very tidy and well maintained. They have a hot tub, lounge with a TV, and small store. Poor wifi. We camped at Mountain Gate RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blue Ox RV Park, Albany, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect for an easy overnight stay on our way south on I-5. A couple of miles back from the highway, so no road noise, but could hear a distant train. Park was quiet with some long term rigs. Concrete pads separated by gravel or mulch; helps keep things clean on rainy nights. Good showers were clean and warm. Friendly staff. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jantzen Beach RV Park, Portland, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Unusual place; a mix of good and annoying features. The good: clean asphalt sites separated by generous grassy areas with picnic tables, bathrooms clean and warm, lovely river walkway. The bad: unfriendly and very unhelpful office staff, very poor wifi, rigs back up to each other, train and airplane noise. The unusual: the RV sites are a small part of a very old mobile home park, some well maintained, some not. The most striking feature is the constant stream of airplanes gearing down to land at nearby Portland International; I'm talking major planes flying very low overhead. We were here for a single night stopover heading north on I-5 and actually would stay again for one night. We camped at Jantzen Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yreka RV Park, Yreka, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We are heading north on I-5 to Seattle and needed an overnite place within easy access from the road. We were thrilled with this place. The restrooms are clean, spacious, heated. The easily accessed gravel sites are separated by grass and trees in full fall color. Except for some noise from I-5, the place is quiet. The office was closed when we arrived, but someone met us to give us restroom and wifi codes (strong wifi). Will definitely stop here on our trips to and from Seattle. We camped at Yreka RV Park in a Motorhome.
