Eisenhower State Park, Denison, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We love Eisenhower. It has some really beautiful spots. We tend to always stay on the full hookup sites that have mostly pull-thru drives. The game wardens are great about keeping the peace. The roads are really nice and you can drive your bike easily on them. The trailers are well maintained for both bikes (in designated areas) and hikers. They have a sandy beach you can hike down to and it is beautiful.

One of the roads accessing the parks is currently walked out but it should be repaired soon.

If you pick out a spot while in the office and do not like it when you get there, just call the office number and ask to switch. They are more than accommodating. We camped at Eisenhower State Park in a Travel Trailer.
