Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We came here again after 3 years, and yes it was worse! Price is PA rate. We only stayed one night. It does have 30/50 amp. It also has dirt, dead grass, weeds and a forest of large power poles. Power to sites is overhead not buried. We would not stay here again (I hope). We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is a quiet and safe place to stay for a night. We were in a clean pull through with easy hookup. Close to all the "sights". $3.00 extra for 50 amp service. Wi-Fi did not work! We would stay here again. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mission View RV Park (55+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Reflects a monthly rate. Nice park with some security. Sites are hard to get in and out of. Lots of activities. Park is in a very run down portion of Tucson but safe in the park. Tucson traffic is horrible! Interstate 10 is "still" under construction! We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Pohick Bay Regional Park, Lorton, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park in the spring. There must have been a change in management and employees, as the staff were all friendly and helpful at all times. Very nice playground and meadow for children and adults. Close to D.C. and Metro in Springfield (a must if you want to enjoy D.C.). Most sites are electric only. This was great for us as we have a motorhome. The water pressure/volume where you fill your tanks is very slow, so be prepared. Restrooms and showers were older but well maintained and clean. This is a mature wooded park so forget satellite TV, Radio and GPS except in sites 47 and 48. We would stay here again. We camped at Pohick Bay Regional Park in a Motorhome.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. A very nice white beach is just a short walk (ten minutes or less) with swimming, fishing and sun bathing. Bike friendly with trails and and paved roads to investigate. Our site was large could have parked 3 extra cars if needed. Most all of the sites were tree covered. No WiFi and unable to use Satellite TV but this is a great place. We will return. We camped at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in a Motorhome.

Circle Creek RV Park & Campground, Seaside, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Park has lots of grass and trees actually a very nice looking park. Management could use some serious customer service training. They act as if the customer is bothering them. Wireless internet works great when it is "re-booted" every few hours but it is only "re-booted" when you walk up state it is not working. Staff stated it was being diagnosed. Lots of "rules" We camped at Circle Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Issaquah Village RV Park, Issaquah, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park with black top paved roads and sites. Sites are tight but slides will be OK. Shaded sites are rare. Wireless worked very well. Would have a higher score except for the price and the constant noise day and night from Interstate 90. We camped at Issaquah Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park close to Glacier National Park. Very clean bathrooms and showers. You will need to ask for Satellite TV and Wireless site as many sites have trees. Wireless Internet was the best in months 36-48 kbs! Stated they were in the process of improving. Most other parks should follow their lead We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.
