Timberland Acres RV Park, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained privately owned campground. Seasonal area is a bit tight, but, well laid out with FHU sites. Pool looks good, but, I never used it. They are always having some kind of events there, Pancake breakfasts and such and it seems to be very well received too. Front office staff is superb and very friendly. Grounds crew is 100% on top of maintenance, probably best I have seen on that front. While it is strange that they only have the one bath area for all of their sites, in truth, I never ran into more than one other shower in use, out of the 5, the entire season, so it works. VERY well kept bathrooms by the way. Will most certainly stay again. We camped at Timberland Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Water pressure was on the low side, but, I have a tankless and it requires higher pressure. normal rigs have hot water tanks, so it will not effect the majority of folks.

Dan River Campground, Stoneville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

My experience at Camp Hill was perfect. The park is a very well kept park, clean and woodsy. Perfect setting.

It is obvious that the owner is on his game with keeping the park clean.

I look forward to staying there again on my way north soon.

The trails along the river were really beautiful.

This campground is easily on of my favorite for quiet and safe camping. My dog loved it too! :) :) We camped at Dan River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Foxwood Family Campground, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed for a month....so I could not enter the rate properly. However.....500.00 from mid sept to mid oct. That included electric.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This is not a fancy resort but a simple down to earth campground. They are fixing up different areas continuosly. In fact they are hoping to have at least one of two planned dog parks operational. I will most certainly be returning next year....looking forward to it.

Also...some beautiful trails in the area. We camped at Foxwood Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
