Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Wifi was so weak it was unusable. When we pulled in there was a big bag of garbage blocking our site. It appeared to have fallen off of someones camper, probably when they were leaving. However it was there at 5 PM and stayed there all night. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

I don't have much to add to what all other reviewers have said. The views at this park are incredible. This park is a "10" in every aspect. At $58 before discount it is a little pricey, but you are paying for the location, so near to YS. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cody Wyoming Trout Ranch, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very new. Trees have been planted but it will be some time before there is any shade. However that is the only thing that keeps this park from being a "10". Services work well, views are great. Love that they have the trout pond. They provide fishing gear and bait for free. Only $5 per fish if you want to keep it and they will clean it. That is cheaper than the grocery store and a lot fresher. We camped at Cody Wyoming Trout Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Country Lane Campground & RV Park, Wilbur, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

What a great little park. It is small but there were only 7 campers while we were there and 5 of those were permanent. We had a spot at the end of the park that was secluded and quiet. Hwy 2 is very close but it was very quiet after dark. The hosts are super nice. Ditto about the breakfast and dinners that are available. We camped at Country Lane Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gig Harbor RV Resort, Gig Harbor, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall a nice park. Water, electric and sewer worked fine. Park is hilly but it was still easy to navigate. Sites are gravel and the rocks were a little too large for my liking. Close (1 mi.) to shopping. In my view the park has two major drawbacks. While they advertise WiFi, in reality the sites don't have WiFi. Signal was so weak and slow, I gave up trying to use it. You can go to the office and get a decent signal. Second they do not allow charcoal grills. That is a big downer for me. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Had trouble finding the entrance and the office, but we already had our site number so we just went to the site and set up. The manager came by later to confirm everything was ok. We never could get the cable to work. Everything else was ok. Site was asphalt and grass featuring a picnic table. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The Meadows RV Park, Ketchum, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Good park with all the amenities that we need. FHU, good wifi, no cable, All long pull thru. Little grassy strip at each site. Some shade. I took a few points off for one of the policies. That is no charcoal grilling allowed. We cook 80% of our meals over the grill and I never saw anything on their website that mentioned that. We camped at The Meadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Buck's Gas and RV park, Irwin, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park won't be for everyone. No pool, no showers, but it looks like they are adding them. It is behind a convenience store/ gas station. But there are a lot of positives. Great views. Almost every site is a pull thru. FHU. Good wifi. Level, spacious gravel sites. Lots of shade. Sign in at the convenience/ grocery store. Super park for and overnight. We camped at Buck's Gas and RV park in a Travel Trailer.

Rocky Pond Park, Belleville, Kansas

Overall Rating:

For a quick overnight stay this is a good choice. Site was level. Full hook ups. City park with no attendant. Just put your $20.00 in the honor box. Showers and restroom was not very good. No open fires allowed but BBQ ok. All sites are pull thru. We camped at Rocky Pond Park in a Travel Trailer.

The only thing that kept me from rating this park a 10 was lack of shade and atmosphere. They have it all, FHU, wifi, cable, clean restrooms shower and laundry. And great friendly service at check in. Also a nice small , clean pool. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Holiday Campground, Ochlockonee Bay, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

There is a lot of good to be said about this park. Granted we are here on a weekday in January, so there are no overcrowding issues. However the views are fantastic. Sites are spacious and easy to access. Wifi works great, no problems with the 50 amp electric. Restrooms and showers while old are clean. We camped at Holiday Campground in a Travel Trailer.

St Joseph Peninsula State Park, Port Saint Joe, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nites in Jan 2017. It was unseasonably cold and very windy. Check in was very efficient. Sites are well marked and we found #30, the one we had reserved. It was very narrow with two pine trees on either side. It was quite a chore getting in. My truck and trailer total 35 ft in length. The nose of my truck stuck out into the roadway by about a foot so I had to unhitch. We saw several other sites that are very shallow. Of course they have no wifi or cable but we knew that up front. Restrooms were the best I have ever seen in an RV park. Very clean, good hot water pressure. We camped at St Joseph Peninsula State Park in a Travel Trailer.
