Keesler AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Keesler AFB, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We were placed in the overflow area of the RV Park. Only water and electric were available to us. RV Park is small and appears to be very crowded with various people, retirees, active duty, etc. Hosts are easy to work with and friendly. Campground is located off of Keesler AFB in a secluded area. Lots of shade and plenty of room to disconnect toad. We camped at Keesler AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park, Kinder, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful RV Park located behind and left of the Casino. All sites are concrete with plenty of room for your RV plus toad. Full hookups at each site plus a street light for night vision. Office staff very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Check-in is simple at the RV Lodge. Rates vary depending on the day of the week. We stayed for two nights on Tuesday and Wednesday so the rate was just $ 20/ night. We will return for another stay next year. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rusk KOA , Rusk, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

RV Park is set back in the trees far enough off of the road so there is little if any noise from passing vehicles. Office staff very sociable and easy to talk to. Sites are long enough to accommodate both motor home and toad. All utilities functional and easy to hookup to. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Park appears to have some long term residents but no problem for overnight stays. We enjoyed this KOA and we would return again.

Be careful when approaching the entrance from the west on Farm Road 343. There is a hill with a blind spot when turning into the RV park. We camped at Rusk KOA in a Motorhome.

The nicest KOA we have encountered in our travels. Everything associated with this RV Park is nothing short of excellent! The office staff are very friendly and will assist you in every way possible. Sites are all concrete with patio and full hookups. We stayed here over a three day weekend and enjoyed all that this facility has to offer. Casino was great with some wonderful food choices! Whispering Woods RV Park, Wyandotte, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV Park which adjoins the Indigo Sky Casino. The sites are all "back- in." Water and electric only with a dump station on the property. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the peace and quiet in the park. The casino has all the amenities you could ask for. Wonderful food and the office staff are very helpful. We camped at Whispering Woods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort at Raintree Lake, Scottsburg, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Office staff very friendly and helpful. Park is clean and well maintained. Sites are easy to get into. We had a 30 amp pull through site that was long enough to accept our motor home and toad without disconnecting. Lots of restaurants to choose from in Scottsburg just two miles from RV park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort at Raintree Lake in a Motorhome.

Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a great experience but the campground is questionable. Sites are small and close together. It can get muddy here when it rains. Some low spots in the RV sites and the sites do vary quite a bit in length. Best to get an advance look if possible prior to making a reservation. Our site (90) was a pull through and long enough for our motor home plus toad. Water can be a problem as the water spigots are few and far between. We camped at Spring Mill State Park in a Motorhome.

Peach Queen Campground, Jemison, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Just off of I-65. This park looks as though it was a KOA at one time. Sites are easy to get to and spacious. Office staff very helpful. Nice RV park for overnight stay. There is a gas station close by big enough to accept an RV if you need to refuel. Not recommended for a destination stop. We camped at Peach Queen Campground in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest RV parks we have encountered in our travels. The owners are very friendly and will assist you in any manner they can. Sites are very clean, easy to get to and have full hookups.
