Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground, Milledgeville, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was our 2nd stay at Scenic Mountain RV Park in our 31' motorhome. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we had our "Sunshine Rovers" RV club join us this year for the Milledgeville Deep Roots Festival. 12 Rigs were in our group. We stayed for 5 nights. The Campground Marketing Manager went out of her way to make sure that each of us had everything that we needed. We had use of the Club House and the kitchen, which made serving and eating our group dinner and breakfast a real treat!

The campsites are well spaced and have full hook-ups. The campground facilities are kept very clean and it is obvious that the staff takes pride in their work and in the park. There is a clean dog park equipped with agility type equipment for exercising your canine partners. The park is located only 3 miles south of Milledgeville, GA, which we found to be a very friendly community. The WiFi was flawless, which is NOT usually the case at many RV parks. We stayed for 5 nights. Cell phone service was excellent for all of the carriers that our group uses. We have already made our reservations for October 2018! I highly recommend this campground. We camped at Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat, Rutherfordton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We have spent 45 nights at 4 Paws Kingdom over the past 4 years, and each trip is better than the last one. Our first trip was for only 2 nights, which we quickly learned was not enough time to enjoy the friendly and pleasant people and events at this truly unique venue! Subsequent trips have ranged in length from 4 to 11 nights at a time, and each stay has been completely enjoyable. The hostesses are so gracious and make each visitor completely at ease. They will do whatever it takes to exceed your expectations, and each year they make substantial and beneficial improvements to their lovely facility. The campground volunteers are always available to help with your campsite and facility needs, and are the friendliest you will find anywhere! Our canine companion names are Holden and Derby, are they are always over-excited as soon as we turn into the campground. They have enjoyed swimming in the pond, as well as making new and lasting friends in the 7 (yes, SEVEN!) various doggie parks. We really love the games and events that hostesses organize, geared to the DOGS and their love for fun! The catered food events are a real treat for us human guests, and the games and events are fun for everyone at any age. If you love your dog(s), then you owe them a visit to 4 Paws Kingdom. You and your canine companions will love that you did! We camped at 4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat in a Motorhome.

Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground, Milledgeville, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Scenic Mountain RV Park for 5 nights.

Their staff assigned us to a site that did not meet our needs, but they provided us with a suitable alternative site. The office staff was readily available and always responsive to your needs. The ground staff interacted with us each day, and they were friendly and always asked if our needs were being met. The staff always tried to make us feel welcomed and special. We will definitely be coming back to Scenic Mountain RV Park, which is only 3 miles south of Milledgeville. The park has a clean dog park equipped with agility type equipment for exercising your dogs. I highly recommend this campground. We camped at Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Milledgeville is full of history and Southern Charm. It was the Capital of Georgia during the War Between the States, and history abounds. There is a trolley ride in town that stops at several historic places. I highly recommend visiting. Great shops and restaurants downtown, only 3 miles from the campground.
