Potters Creek Park COE, Canyon Lake, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, quiet, clean basic campsite located conveniently (20 miles) from towns such as Gruene, New Braunfels, and Wimberly. Only loop one is open, with no reservations allowed. Our campsite #15 had campers directly in back with no vegetation between campsites. There are a few large oak trees and big open spaces viewing other campers, but each site was fairly large with nice covered picnic tables and paved pads. Mostly quiet, older campers which is fine by me! We camped at Potters Creek Park COE in a Travel Trailer.

Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Campsite was a little small, but private with fairly thick vegetation between sites. Roads within campground were "gravel-like" and were very tight allowing for little room to back into site. Lots of overhead branches to avoid, but overall a nice park with a very pretty, private beach with white sand dunes. We camped at Grayton Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Spent one day driving along the "Emerald Coast" stopping to see Navarre Beach, Fort Walton, and Destin.

We rode bikes along Santa Rosa beach and also within town of Seaside, which is a nice quaint village located close to the park.
