Only spent one night here to visit the Rattlesnake Saloon and did not visit the bathrooms or the showers but the park was a nice quiet well maintained location with adequate space between the pads. All utilities worked perfectly and it was easy in easy out. What we found outstanding was the gentleman who lived and worked at the park in a RV and took care of any problems that arose. We had no problems while we were at the park however two days after leaving the park I realized I had left my water pressure regulator attached to the parks faucet. I called to see if by chance it was still there. While I was on the phone he went over immediately to the site I had occupied and confirmed it was still there. He promptly mailed the regulator to my home address. Now that's service! I must say on our three trips to Alabama all the people we have met were friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel welcome! We will be back. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.
Visit the very unique Rattlesnake Saloon.

Only open for a few weeks and is still being finished. Gravel pads which currently are a challenge to level and good full hookups. Only 10 pads available currently with 10 more almost finished and more coming in the future. We loved this place as the park is next to horse stables with a horse track only a few hundred feet from the park. Can watch the horses being exercised on the track almost daily. In the other direction are hay fields and a hill that you can explore if you like. We extended out stay from 3 to 5 days we liked it so much. Our only complaint was that there was a fair amount of dogs barking (and on occasion visiting our campsite) from an adjacent road nearby (Edelin Rd not in the park) on some days. The last night we were there we experienced loud and almost continuous barking of two or three dogs all night and into the next morning. Quite annoying since the weather was cool and there was no need for air conditioning or to keep our windows shut. We camped at Marion County Fair RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice enough facility but we were instructed to park in an area that they knew had a bad wifi antenna and therefore no internet access. We asked for the password when arriving and was provided one but never told there was a problem. There were many open spots they could have put us in that would have had internet access but they choose not to do so. RV parks need to understand that internet access is VERY important to many campers. We had similar problems at this campground last fall also. I will return to the area but not to this campground. We camped at Live Oak Landing in a Motorhome.
