Because we didn't plan ahead for Labor Day weekend, this is all we could find--the most expensive campground we've ever stayed in but we had no choice. Fortunately, we were ONLY ½ mi from office--most site are much farther. The sites are huge, wooded, and very private but are graveled as are the roads. They're actually big rocks and difficult to cycle or walk on. We have Verizon and have never not been able to get service ANYWHERE but couldn't from our site so had to walk to office area to use phone. Wifi is sketchy, at best, and again--had to walk to office and sit outside in the sun to access. On pool side, the music is so loud that it was uncomfortable to sit there. The pool is huge but only 3.5' deep and doesn't open till 9 when all the kids come out so I was unable to do any lap swimming. They have a huge fleet of golf carts for getting around the area--for which they charge--and because of the size of the place, you're kinda left with no choice. The dumpsters are also near the office and that's the ONLY place to get rid of your trash. Pity the folks farther away than we were. Staff was excellent in the office and also the clean up crew but we'll never stay here again because of the cost and inconvenience. Certainly don't get what you pay for. We camped at Moose Hillock Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
We were there for the car show in Saratoga Springs which is fairly near. Ft. Ann is an interesting little town.
