Antler Oaks Lodge and RV Resort, Bandera, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good size place with gravel sites, shaded areas and friendly staff. Our site was pretty level but a little too narrow in that we could not open our awning fully due to the trees and our slides when opened were rubbing up against the trees. The trees just need a good grooming to raise the tree canopy. The grass was tall and we had ant beds everywhere. The restrooms on site did not function well, but the ones located inside the lodge worked great. During our stay, the park was quiet and we did not hear a lot of road noise since it's off the main road a bit which was nice. We camped at Antler Oaks Lodge and RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Canyon of the Eagles Lodge & Nature Park, Burnet, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park with gravel sites and plenty of shade. There is a breakfast bar available on site and dinner dining is also available. We stayed on the weekend and there were activities for kids and evening entertainment for adults. The only complaint we had was the excessive sticky grass burrs. They were everywhere, even on the gravel sites. We had a hard time keeping them off shoes and out of the trailer. Bring hard soled shoes. They are difficult to remove from tennis shoes and/or flip flops. We camped at Canyon of the Eagles Lodge & Nature Park in a Travel Trailer.
