Riverside Campground & Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very clean and well laid out with wide streets. They offer both pull-thru and back-in sites. Our camp site was level, with dirt & gravel, 50 amp service, and picnic table. It also was longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and plenty wide. There were trees around but our site open so able to get satellite service. We also had good Sprint and ATT cell service. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Three underground cement storm shelters in RV parking area. Will absolutely recommend to others. We camped at Mustang Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blaze-in-saddle, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very clean and well laid out with wide streets. Camp site was level, with dirt & gravel, 50 amp service but no picnic table, or fire pit. It also was much longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and plenty wide. There were young trees around but still able to get satellite service. They escort you to your campsite. Would definitely sty here again. Very close to I40 and easy to locate. We camped at Blaze-in-saddle in a Motorhome.

Rancho Los Coches RV Park, Lakeside, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very clean and well cared for with full hook-ups, paved roads and established trees and landscaping. Our site was a level, graveled back-in site with a picnic table on small cement patio. All sites are very close, back in, and ours was satellite-friendly. The roads are narrow in places but we were able to navigate them with our 40' motorhome towing. Seems to be dog friendly. A mix of long term and short term rvs. We stayed two weeks while visiting family. Do wish that they were able to control the ant problem. Will stay here again. We camped at Rancho Los Coches RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Meadows RV Park (Fort Hall Casino Campground), Fort Hall, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Park is clean, quiet, and close to I15 and Pocatello. The streets and sites are paved and level although both are a little tight. The "B" row does have trees for shade. All "A" sites and B2 and B8 are satellite-friendly. The other "B" sites might be also. Sprint and ATT reception are very minimal. We camped at Buffalo Meadows RV Park (Fort Hall Casino Campground) in a Motorhome.

Moab KOA, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

The streets and sites were narrow and gravel and dirt. Both streets and sites had stategically-placed large rocks that were difficult to maneuver past. Expensive rate for site. No trees, so site was satellite-friendly. There was minimal Sprint and ATT reception. The views from the site of high rock formations were beautiful to see. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

Park is very clean and well laid out with wide streets. Camp site was level, with dirt & gravel, 50 amp service, picnic table, and fire pit. It also was longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and plenty wide. There were trees around but still able to get satellite service. Camphost very helpful. Fairly close to Kansas City for sightseeing. Across the way from a dam where you can see many people fishing. Call few days ahead for weekend reservation. Sweetwater / I-75 / Exit 62 KOA, Sweetwater, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Park is mostly shady, quiet, close to I75, well kept, and good customer service. Roads are all paved but some tight turns. It was so tight to pull out of our campsite (41B) that we think we may have gotten off the pavement as we turned. Although we never expected it as there was no drop off, the coach tipped to the point that we felt like we were going to tip over. Very sobering. We have over 47,000 miles on our 2016 40' motorhome and have never tipped that far. If you use that campsite, be very careful as you do your tight turn to the left as you leave. There were trees all thru the campground but we could get satellite service from the campsite that we had. They do escort you to your campsite. Our campsite was somewhat open, grass, unlevel, fire pit, and a picnic table. We were able to get both Sprint or ATT cell service. We camped at Sweetwater / I-75 / Exit 62 KOA in a Motorhome.

Hidden Acres Family Campground, Preston, Connecticut

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very scenic with canopy of trees, pond, pool, assorted buildings, clean, and excellent customer service. Large percentage of seasonal campers but very quiet and well kept. Roads are all maintained dirt. Our campsite was open, grass and dirt, level with 30 + 50 amp service, fire pit, and a picnic table. There were trees all thru the campground but the site we chose was open up on a hill but so we were easily able to get satellite service. They escort you to your campsite. We had planned to stay 2 days, but such a nice campround and area, we stayed for a week. This is a destination campground. We travel across the US and visit many different campgrounds, we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Hidden Acres Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is not an actual campground. We were traveling through so it was perfect for us. It is a paved parking area for RVs. But the lot is quite large and is a high overlook to a beautiful lake. A sign at entrance to the parking area displays a phone number to call for a permit and security gives you a pass good for seven days of dry camping! We were there the last week of May and there were only 7 campers so plenty of area to chose a spot. The area is sloped for drainage. We picked a spot at the hightest area of the lot for the view, so did need to use a couple blocks to level. They also provide a regular shuttle service from this lot to the casino. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mohegan Sun Casino in a Motorhome.
