4 Guys RV Park, Stanton, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived and found some one to be parked in the pull thru site we had reserved. After going into the office the lady in side checked the reservation and moved us to the site next to the original one. Campground is very clean and neat. The only minor problem we encountered was the fact that the only dumpster was back at the entrance. Park had a nice pool and also a small pond for fishing. Very close to the Natural Bridge state park. The only negative I could find was the lack of shade. When temps hit 90+ and the humidity is at 70%, I would have liked to have more shade than my awning provides. All in all this is a clean and neat campground and close enough to home to make a nice quick get away. I will definitely return. We camped at 4 Guys RV in a travel trailer. Chassahowitzka River Campground, Homosassa, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a total of 10 days. I had made reservations for 1 week but wife decided to stay an extra 3 days. Had no problems extending stay, even got to stay on the same site. Park is old but in pretty good shape. Could use a little clean up and paint but all in all is nice. Park is actually on state land and operated by contractor.

The biggest problem in my opinion is the roads. Huge holes and very rough. Seems as though some have been patched but not enough to really make a difference. Have to be very careful when navigating in the campground. Biggest plus for the wife was the rustic feeling of the cg. We camped at Chassahowitzka River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cincinnati South Campground, Crittenden, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Spent one night here on the way to taking our new travel trailer home. As stated below, the campground is within 100 feet of the railroad tracks. The train seems to go by every hour and kept both of us awake for most of the night. The grounds are not yet in bloom so we could not tell much about the landscaping, but it seemed to be very nice. The sites were a little close with about 8 feet of grass between them and most had trees. All sites had a picnic table and fire ring. As we only stayed overnight, we did not use the dump station. Owner/management was very helpful and nice. This campground is ok for an overnight if you are a sound sleeper, but I would not want to spend any amount of time here. We camped at Cincinnati South Campground in a Travel Trailer.
