Copper Mountain RV Park, Tacna, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights in our 42' fifth wheel. Wide paved streets with gravel sites. Very level. They have "pull thru's" for overnighters, but it is against a block wall, I could not pull thru and had to back out, but very easy. On the other side of the block wall is 1/4 mile of desert to I-8 and railroad on far side of freeway, road noise was very noticeable but not horrible. Could hear train but no loud. Very wide spaces, the park is set up to have off road toys and park them on site and ride them out of the park. No speeding or loud off road vehicles, very well behaved. Price was a great value for the park, nice and away from the cramped Yuma feel. If you don't have toys I don't know if I would stay here for long term, but great for a few days or overnight. We camped at Copper Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park), Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in back pull thru row with my 42' fifth wheel. Sites are narrow, had to position my trailer so I could open slides without hitting a big bush on one side and the electrical post on the other. Park very quite, stayed on a Saturday night. Good park for overnighting. The back ins were wide and set up for longer stays. Would stay here again. Good wifi and cable. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lost Alaskan RV Park, Alpine, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in and out with my 42' fifth wheel. Far enough out of town to be quiet, but a short drive in. Sites level/gravel. Spaced out so you don't feel too crowded. Wifi was bad to nonexistent. Cable good. Used the wash rack for my truck($5.00)and trailer($10.00). They have propane, but they charge you for a full bottle no matter how much or little you need. OK if your bottle is empty. Over all a very nice park and would stay here again. Lots to do and see in the area. We camped at Lost Alaskan RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Angels in Goliad RV Park, Goliad, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in and out with my 42' 5th wheel. Nice to see a young, motivated owner/manager. Owner said the PA fee has gone up to $20.00 a night but he would honor the $15.00 rate. There were about 20 campers in the park. There were a couple old trailers, but the rest were nice. No junk or clutter. There were some workers living there. Great value for price. Went to Presidio, was interesting. We would stay here again. We camped at Angels in Goliad RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A+ Motel & RV Park, Sulphur, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

It was a little tight getting my 42' 5th wheel into my site, the roads were easy. It was raining so we did not use any of the parks amenities, we were just overnighting it on our way West. It is far enough away from the road so there is little road noise, did hear a train, but not too loud. It was a little pricey for just an overnighter, but if you were using the pools and fishing it would probably be worth the price. We camped at A+ Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cypress Bayou Casino and RV Park, Charenton, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

I gave this park a 10 for what it is. Nice, clean place to stay overnight or a few nights. This is not a resort. I was able to get my 42' 5th wheel in and out with no problems. There are 9 pull thru's and 9 large back ins that I probably could get my rig backed in with my limited backing skills. I paid $22.00 for my second night there, that is the weekend rate. We got a players card and we got $15.00 off a meal and $15.00 to gamble with. The food was pretty good for casino food. I almost ate for free. You can't beat the value here. I would stay here again. We camped at Cypress Bayou Casino and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I have a 42' fifth wheel, was very easy in and out of park and sites. A good value for an overnight stop with PA. Quite a few extended stay guest, but sites were clean. Gila Bend KOA, Gila Bend, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I have a 42' fifth wheel. No problems, wide roads and sites. Easy in and out. Close to highway, but there was little road noise, could not hear it from inside. We just stopped for the night, did not check out pool or bath house. The park was very clean and people friendly. Check in staff were friendly and efficient. Escorted us to our site. Would stay again. I did check out the Shell station down the street, not as nice, but if the KOA was full I would stay there. I saw some big rigs in the park. We camped at Gila Bend KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Heber RV Resort, Heber, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

43' 5th wheel, no problem getting in or around park. Very clean and well kept. There is some highway noise, but you soon don't notice it. Very friendly and helpful host. This is not a resort, but a campground up in the mountains. I would stay here again. We camped at Heber RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

3 Dreamers RV Park, Salome, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a desert park as other reviews have stated. We stayed just overnight in a 43' 5th wheel. Easy in and out, just watch the exit off the highway as the gate is not square with the road. No dust and very quiet, no dogs barking as a review said. The gal that checked us in was very nice and helpful. They sell ice for $1.50 in a 2 gallon zip lock bag. We camped at 3 Dreamers RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kit Fox RV Park, Patterson, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

I was able to get my 45' fifth wheel in and out with no problems.

The park had some "extended stay" guests, but their spaces were clean and well kept, unlike some places I have stayed where it is real obvious that they live there.

I thought the park was a great value for and overnight stay on the way up the I-5 with my passport America discount.

Did not use or see the showers/restrooms. We camped at Kit Fox RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
