Add-More Campground, Clarksville, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

NOT happy campers. I reserved by phone and confirmed that the rate was $37.45 per night. That is the rate on the website for a 50-amp site. On arrival, we were told that for a 40-foot motor home, there is an "upcharge." Such charge is not listed anywhere on their website nor was it mentioned when I reserved. Of course we did not have time to look for another place to go, so we paid the extra. But this is not an ethical business practice! The park is so-so, dusty and close, definitely not worth $48 per night. We camped at Add-More Campground in a Motorhome.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park is everything a campground should be. Wonderful friendly staff, loads of trees and trails, everything well maintained. I could go on and on. There are different loops - if you have particular requirements, be sure to call. One area is in the woods along the lake and is super for families who want to gather around the campfire. The other side is not as treed, but still surrounded by woods. Each site has a grill and fire ring and table, and all are in good condition. Add to the wonderful campground all of the things to do in this park - it is just one of the best places you will every camp. A tad pricey but worth every penny and then some. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Stone Mountain Heights Mobile Home Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Run down park with no amenities. We were there in the summer and the pool (which is already small) was closed. Sites are super narrow; we were afraid we would slide off the gravel! And it was not at all level. We have automatic jacks but had to use blocks, so that our wheels were not off the ground. Ugh. It's quiet enough; that is about the only positive I have here. But the folks who run it are nuts when it comes to dogs - actually stopped and harassed us to see if we had a bag with us when walking our dog! We camped at Stone Mountain Heights Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.
