We spent last winter here, and loved it so much we returned from South Dakota again for another winter. I don't know for sure what the daily rate is, we pay monthly $280 plus elect. The sites are gravel and very level, most have long patios of cement but we favor the only one out here without, instead we have RR ties and no neighbors to our front. Golden Shores is a great very peaceful and quiet little town, and the RV Park is the same. The managers are some of the greatest folks you will ever meet, as are the fellow campers. We enjoy the get-togethers for every occasion, Thanksgiving is the first to kick off the season, and we are looking forward to that tomorrow afternoon. Last year it seemed there was at least one feast every month and regular meetings at the club house for cards or other pursuits. Many of the folks who camp here end up purchasing homes here in Golden Shores as they are readily available for a decent price. We camped at Golden Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.
Wow so many choices - Bullhead City - Laughlin NV - Lake Havasu City - Parker - Oatman - Kingman - Hoover Dam - Grand Canyon - Bryce Canyon and so much more to do in this area.
Walks in the desert are so peaceful and rockhounds would be in heaven for the small stones that seem to be everywhere out in the open expanse that lie North of the park. The small lake to the west contains some wonderful tasting Catfish, some were provided by a fellow camper last year, as I didn't bring any fishing gear along. Topock (Golden Shores) is just a few miles from Oatman, and within 30 miles of both Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu City (London Bridge!) and Kingman is just about 50 miles away. You are within driving distance to the Grand Canyon, and Hoover Dam as well as many other favorites such as Quartzite and Parker Az.
