Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in and out. Wide sites. Clean and VERY well maintained RV Park. I would definitely return. Just stayed one night but would stay much longer if the need arose. Nice easy check in by nice people. One of the better parks. I was in a 40' Motorhome towing a full size Jeep and didn't have to unhook. Worth a stop for one night or an extended stay. Did not use the facilities but I'm sure they were as clean as the park. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.

A Prairie Breeze RV Park, Menoken, North Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Easy self check-in. Spacious gravel sites. Wonderful for the traveler who uses the facility to park the Motorhome and no need for playgrounds, pools, etc. Easy in, easy out and good hookups. My kind of place because I don't need anything that the KOA's offer and don't want to pay for it. We camped at A Prairie Breeze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Stevens State Park, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very BIG state park. Has pretty much everything for RV camping. Sites were dirt which was the only drawback. Definitely would stay again. Lots of traffic coming and going but still safe camping areas. We give it high marks. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Hidden Village RV Park & Campground, Lynden, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

One of the reasons we picked this place is because of the fitness center. Several of the machines (not very many in total) did not work. No heat in the room (51 degrees outside). So, that was a bust. The sites are grass and dirt. Thank goodness it wasn't raining. Also, the sites are close. It's mostly a full time park and looks like it. For an overnight, I guess it was OK. However, there are a lot of RV places in Bellingham. I think I should have looked further. We camped at Hidden Village RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Roadrunner RV Park, Lake Elsinore, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a trailer park, not an RV park. Almost all permanent residents. Old, not real nice looking, no wifi but descent cellular connection. Good location but I wouldn't use the place again. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to shopping and other attractions. Maybe OK for an overnight, but not several days. Just too dirty. Paid for a week b/c it was better than the 5 day rate. Left after 4 days.

Kinross RV Park East, Kincheloe, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 3 nights. Other reviews are accurate. Grass/sand/dirt sites. Small concrete pad. Dated campsite but OK for a base of operation. Park Host not available on check in. Never saw them. Made reservations but never got a confirmation. Never could get ANYONE at the campsite phone number. (Must have called 20+ times). Finally called the Asst. town clerk who said she'd pass on my "change" of plans. Don't know if that ever happened. My biggest concern....I really didn't know if I had a place to put my 40' RV!!!!! When I talked with the clerk she was very "matter of fact" that it wouldn't be a problem because the place is not utilized. But...it was over Labor Day so I was VERY concerned since all the other parks (full hookups) were FULL. So, if you can communicate, great. If not, I'd have a backup plan. We camped at Kinross RV Park East in a Motorhome.

Beyond Hope Resort , Hope, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Four nights in July 2017. Stayed in the upper campground where the sites are grass and NOTHING is level. Some are unusable for a Big Rig. We're 40' and just barely got level. Our friends (2 other 26' rigs) had a lot of trouble getting level. The bathrooms are porta potties!! Restaurant looked nice but the A/C wasn't on so we didn't eat there. Too hot outside and even hotter inside. Definitely not worth the money and we won't be back. A lot of campers just parked "helter skelter". No rhyme or reason to how they parked. Looks like it used to have sewer but they're blocked off. You can use the "honey dipper" M.W. or F for $25 to dump your waste!!!!! We camped at Beyond Hope Resort in a Motorhome.

Armitage Park , Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Plenty of room in each site. Paved pad. Would give a higher rating except the camp host was a jerk!!!! He probably never had authority in his life, until now, and he's using it. He could have been accommodating but would rather show his authority. Bitched at us when we were hooking up our tow that we were in the WRONG place. It was 7AM and not a sole in site. If he's there, I won't return!!!! We camped at Armitage Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Myers Beach RV Resort, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

I should have paid attention to prior reviews. I read them After I stayed there and they're "right on the money". The place is tight, tight, tight. I have a 40 ft. motor home and was nervous entering and exiting. If I didn't have a guide entering I probably would have turned around and left. It is NOT big rig friendly. Also, in need of upgrading, very badly. The pool area and fitness center were fine. (didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked fine) Someone said "keep going past". I agree. There are many, many more RV parks in the area. Picnic table was unusable unless you had cushions for the benches. I'm glad I was just using it for sleeping. Very close to town/beaches but so are other more suitable places if you have a big rig and want to "hang" at your site. We camped at Fort Myers Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Chassahowitzka River Campground, Homosassa, Florida

Good location but the "pull thru" site was not really pull thru. A lot of shade, relatively small, but OK for a few days. We camped at Chassahowitzka River Campground in a Motorhome.
