Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park on the outskirts of town. 20 minutes to downtown and museum hill and sites. This is very quiet and has a nice dog park. They have great art scattered about. This is owner operated and the sites have gorgeous views of the Mountains. A perfect way to wake up and spend the night. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Jude Travel Park, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park is close to the city center. They have sites close to together

and internet was fair. The people were nice and we stayed 3 nights.

I am sure the location to Bourbon Street and attractions is why the sites are all very very close together. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Amarillo KOA, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here January 5. We arrived and the water at all sites was frozen due to a storm front. It was below zero or close to that at 5 pm.

The only positive was the man who was working there told us that

we could have a limo pick us up for dinner at our site. The Steakhouse was good and pick up at site enabled us not to unhook. We only used the electric. In the evening the snow came with colder weather. In the morning when I asked if someone could come get our small propane tank and fill it they said no, insurance issues. I also said can I call at 1 pm as if the weather improved we would continue on our way. The lady said there was a late fee.

Also at 8 am my husband trudged through the snow to the front desk,

the temperature with wind chill was below zero. He said can I come in and they said no dogs allowed. You would think under the circumstances which were unusual a brief exception would be made. Really they should have offered all campers a free night if they stayed another day. Some common sense and gratitude for our business would have been nice. The train noise with windows closed was not that loud as someone reported. The area looked nice but with snow and freezing temperature we had no idea. Everything was frozen except the electric. We camped at Amarillo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Steak house was fun! However an old building so cold inside.

A commercial establishment with good food and country singers.
