La Hacienda RV Resort & Cottages, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and well managed park. We had a great site in front. The section we were in the site was sloped toward the front so it made it a bit of a challenge to level. We camped at La Hacienda RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins, Leadville, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this RV park several times over the last few years. It is a great park to use as a base camp to explore the area. No TV or Wi-Fi but 3G and cell is available in the area. Restrooms are reasonably clean, and the folks at the desk are very accommodating. Some of the spaces can be a little tricky to get into, but once you're settled, they aren't bad. We camped at Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunrise Village RV & Mobile Home Resort, Safford, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a mobile home park with a few RV spots. Not level and very tight. To check in you have to find the manager. . It took us well over an hour in the hot weather to finely get into our spot. Cash or check only. We camped at Sunrise Village RV & Mobile Home Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tapo Canyon Park, Simi Valley, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

As most others mentioned, this is a pretty nice county park. There is no cell coverage, TV, or network connection of any kind. We were visiting family in the area so it worked for us. The biggest problem is the inability to walk your pet in the day use area. The only grass around. We camped at Tapo Canyon Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in here twice. Both were just over night. This is one of the best run RV parks that I have ever stayed in. Sites are level and there is plenty of room. The bathrooms are clean. I would highly recommend this park for any length of stay. I will be back here this summer. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice RV park for one nighters. We stayed twice in on the way out and back to Virginia for Christmas. Owners are friendly and helpful. The roads could be better kept but aren't too bad. I would stay here again when I travel through this area. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here on the way to and from Virginia for Christmas. For a one nighter this is fine. Easy to get around in and fairly level. I would probably stay here again for the convenience. Folks were very helpful. We camped at I-30 Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Amarillo RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great RV park. It is made up to look like an old west town; there is even a catch and release fishing pond. Each space has it's own little stretch of grass with picnic table. This is a great place for couples, families, and folks with pets. The showers are basic, but clean. Watch out for the store though! It has all the cute things that wives like to buy. We camped at Fort Amarillo RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little RV park. The park is a little worn, but the owners are friendly and helpful. They also have a cowboy cook out from 5:30pm to 7:30pm that features steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, etc.. The price on the food is reasonable. There is a playground for the kids also. We camped at Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA in a Motorhome.

Fort Beale RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place! The only thing that would have made it a ten is the poor dog run. This is the desert, so I guess you can't expect too much. The shower are very nice. Everything seems to be like new. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walnut RV Park, Northridge, California

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

For LA this is not a bad park. If you have pets, the curb out front is the dog run. This is not only unsafe but inconvenient. We did not find the spaces as narrow as others had complain - you should have room for a motorhome and a parking space next to it. Bathrooms/showers are old but clean. The staff is pleasant. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice and clean. Well laid out with big paved streets. More of a long stay park. Good laundry facilities. No real pet area. Lots of dirt, but this is a desert! Showers are definitely communal. We camped at Fun & Sun Mobile Home & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great little RV park. Friendly staff and nice surroundings. Great place if you bring a pet. Lots of grass. Just clean up after your pet and there is no problem. We will definitely stay here again. Did not use the showers because it was too cold in the morning. But they looked OK. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay! Would rate it higher but dog runs were nothing but a caged in dirt spot with weeds growing in it. Showers are the best with individual bathrooms that lock. Nice staff also. Would, and probably will stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not a bad park! It is a little old and worn but relatively clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dog run could use a mowing also. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
