Wildlife Woods Campground, Sherrills Ford, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We had "reservations" for memorial day weekend. At the first site there was no accessible power, the staff seemed surprised, but moved us to a site with the sewer where our door was going to be. We mercifully got our money back and left. This is nothing more than a trailer park with a campground sign out front. Drive by this one. We camped at Wildlife Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Moonshine Creek Campground, Balsam, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on Memorial Day weekend, and even at its most crowded, it was quiet and peaceful. A reservation mishap at another park forced us to call in the late afternoon on friday, and we lucked out and got a site. The staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. Kathy and Rich are easily the nicest hosts that my family has ever dealt with. Clean bath houses, clean everything! It is the perfect jumping off point for tons of activities and it is also the perfect place to just sit and relax. Don't miss this one. We camped at Moonshine Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Bakers Acres, Parkertown, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $35.00

We loved this place! The sites are large, sandy, and private. It had a decent pool and playground, a well stocked store and was only 10 minutes to LBI. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us happy. We camped at Bakers Acres in a Travel Trailer.

Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort, Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania

This is a nice well kept campground. There is a nice new playground, nice fishing pond and a friendly staff. Some sites don't have sewer, but they come around and empty your tanks for 5 bucks. Worth a look if you are in the area. We camped at Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
