The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park), Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Basic. Simple. Clean. Easy in. Easy out. It is by no means fancy. Reception personnel (owner) is very welcoming and helpful. Good wifi connection. In a perfect location to get out and do your own exploring. One bathroom, one shower each for male/female. Escorted to our site to make sure we were clear for slideouts and good distance for sewer/water/electric hook up. Cash or check only. No credit cards. No after sundown arrivals. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Cochise Terrace RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The nicest/cleanest park we have stayed at on our 3 week trip through Arizona and New Mexico. Lots of amenities set up for the snowbirds. Gatherings for dinner. Dances. Exercises and walks. Card nights. The pool (not heated in the winter) and the hot tub are clean and a good size. The community room is perfect for reading, listening to music, sewing or just gathering. The outside area is another perfect gathering spot. There are outside fitness equipment. The pull-through sites are on concrete and there is a sense of being in the middle of a parking lot. All the other sites are on gravel and very level and spacious. I would not hesitate to come back. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We went into Tombstone and spent the day walking around. If you plan on going to Kartchner Caverns please make reservations well in advance. They sell out quickly.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Reasons I would have given them a 10- Front office staff was incredibly helpful, kind, cheerful. We asked to stay an extra day and they went out of their way to rearrange sites so that we could stay in the same site without having to move for one night. Clean sites. They have a trash pick up service that comes around to pick up your trash. 24 access to laundry room, fitness room, bathrooms and showers. Wide/long sites. Reasons that I am only giving a 9: No change machine in laundry room. No soap vending machine. No pool. Men's handicap shower had broken seat. No place to put your clean towel, toiletries, clean clothes. Hot tub was dirty. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Re: wifi. It is only accessible while in the breakfast area. There is a password required. We could not get in while sitting in our coach.

Re: continental breakfast. It is pretty basic. Cold cereal. Harboiled eggs. Toast, bagels, pastry. Toaster waffles.

Re: pets. No outdoor crates are allowed. Your pet must be inside your rig.

Re: playground. It is there but probably hasn't been used in a really long time.

The sites are very easy to get into. The pull-throughs are plenty long. Basically this park is utilised by folks who need a place to stay for the night. It is a huge parking lot with full hook ups. It is clean and easy access from the freeway. But there is nothing else to call you back. You are about 10 miles from the city center of Albuquerque. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.

You are about 10 miles from city center. Easy access to Interstate 40 since it is right across the street. This is a great place to pull in and stay the night but there is little other reason to stay longer.
