Conestoga Quarters RV Park, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The road noise from Hwy 101 is deafening even through the night! This is now just a trailer park for people with RV's. There are 3-4 sites that are "open" for over-nighters but the majority of the 32 sites are very long term residents with junk piled around their units. From the condition of the buildings, etc. this park is not cared for well and there is some kind of shed at the back of the park with junkers and junk piled around it. As for the "walking trails" advertised, there's a bridge across a culvert that is all taped off and broken on one and the other leads to the field where people are to walk their dogs. Very unpleasant staff, both in person and on the phone. The supposed "club house pavilion" is a very small workshop of some sort. This park is equi-distant from Sequim and Port Angeles so not really convenient to any of the many attractions in the area. My rig is 28 ft and my small toad fit fine but anything longer would be sticking into the gravel roadway. The sites near the highway are very soggy and mine was not level, nor was my neighbor's. The sites are overgrown grass (decaying leaves everywhere) and gravel with many little dips or holes and close enough to hear toilets flush from inside! The dirt roads are full of very deep potholes and the road near the office is one-way with a very tight downhill curve. 1 washer and dryer in the "office" which he closes around 5:30 pm. The "none available" on the restrooms and showers is he told me they were closed for the winter but people from the really old rigs were getting in. I'm here for 1 month because I did not heed the other reviews and came in when it was dark or I would have left the next day. Unless you are really DESPERATELY tired and down to your last $20, do not even bother to stop here. 5 minutes up the road is the Walmart and it's free! The map on this site shows there are many actual RV Parks in the area and most of them seem to be 100% better. We camped at Conestoga Quarters RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country Corners RV Park and Campground , Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park was such a joy to find! Very nice and very helpful new owners. I felt like I was the most important customer they had at that moment (and there were many campers already there). Cute office with a great store, to be expanded as they settle in. Every site is a pull-thru so it was really EASY for me with my 28 ft MH and trailered car to maneuver and my 3 slides still left plenty of room all around. The gravel was clean and well packed, very neatly done. And you should take a minute to walk in the lush beautiful grass in your site! Even in November, it was like a soft plush carpet! I happened to need propane and they have it available there at a reasonable price and took no time at all to fill up and get me on my way. Nice, quiet park that this young family intends to improve and make even more "kid friendly". I would go out of my way to stay here again! Tips for other Campers:

There are wineries and a golf course in the area and war museum in Nampa. This park is about 30 minutes from Boise, so close enough to do easy day trips but not in the noise and hustle of the city.
