Checked in on a Saturday 2:20 in the afternoon. Office closed. No where in the confirmation did it warn us about this plus signage marking the entrance to the office is awful and if you are lucky enough to figure it out you better have a very small rig because staging area is very small...It would have been so easy to include these details ( check in procedures & hours ) in the confirmation. This park definitely caters to long term guests and most people we ran into are very happy and seem to enjoy the park however if you are only staying about 7 days consider other parks. The pull through site that we stayed in was basically a large black top parking lot with one very small tree at the utility pedestal, lots of traffic going by regularly. Cars on one end and golf carts/ ATV's heading to the main dog park..Luckily they weren't too busy and we did have lots of space on either side of us and a nice view of the mountains out our back window. Wi-Fi is a joke could never get a good connection luckily our IPad has a Data Card and we could use the T-Moble Cell Data. Staff onsite and volunteers all seem very nice and the full timers seem to enjoy it here but for short term stays I wouldn't recommend it. We camped at Fortuna De Oro RV Park (55+) in a Fifth Wheel.
Enjoyed Yuma Proving Grounds, Castle Dome Mine & Prison Museum....
