Blazing Star RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 10 months with our 3 children and service dog. The best features of our experience was the pool, laundry facilities, location near to Walmart, safe environment, friendly folks, shower water pressure, potlucks, and space to walk. However, this park has unwritten/unspoken favoritism towards "winter Texans", short-term vacationers & long-term folks who have "earned" their right to "tattle." It is unfortunate that the long-term folks who actually keep this place in business are treated rudely when it comes to the park's rules. Row 7 is located behind a residential neighborhood that is noisy. The pool is not kept heated at all times. The bath house located on Row 7 is not updated. There is not enough available parking in the entrance. Overall, this was an okay stay. We camped at Blazing Star RV Resort in a Motorhome.

1604 is a busy highway due to road expansion, which has been the reality for 2 years. Leave your site simple & clean.
