Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort, Frankfort, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is a relatively new park with very level concrete pads, reliable power and excellent water pressure. We stayed 5 nights while we explored northern Michigan. We would stay here again when we find ourselves in the area again. We camped at Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights. Had a large shaded pull-through site in the Woodland section. The sites are a bit tight but there was room for our slides and the awning. All the utility connections are at the back of the site so the sewer run was long for us. There is a lot to offer for children: outdoor movies, pool, game room and there were a lot of children. Most of the people staying here were going to the theme park. They warn you about being along train tracks but we were never bothered by it. There is a shuttle to Hershey park and a large camp store. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrowhead Marina & RV Park, Schenectady, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is just that; park like setting with a lot of trees for shade along the river. We stopped for only one night while traveling and wish we could have stayed a week. The staff was friendly and the park was quiet. Power, water and cable all worked fine. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully longer. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Niagara Falls KOA, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We selected this campground as it was convenient for a two night stay in the Niagara Falls area. This is a very nice, clean, quiet well run facility. We had a "Patio" site which got you a concrete patio with furniture and a gas grill. There isn't cable TV so it is the antenna or satellite. Don't know if we will ever be in this area again but would definitely stay here again. We camped at Niagara Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA, Streetsboro, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This was a one night stopover, and we were pleasantly surprised by this KOA campground. This is a very beautiful and clean campground. They have a gated entry and escort you to your site. There are a lot of trees which provided good shade but that also meant we couldn't use our TV satellite. They do have a section for seasonal units, but everything was well maintained. This would be a good place to a week's stay. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Haven Retreat, Indianapolis, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend the DCI Championships at Lucas Stadium. The is a well run RV campground with a friendly, helpful staff that is about 10 minutes from the stadium and downtown Indianapolis. Most of the sites are pull through, all are gravel but level. Power was good, water pressure fine, and cable service good. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake Haven Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Tremont Outdoor Resort, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved 2 sites next to each other for this Memorial Holiday. Check-in was easy, and the 2 sites were next to each other as requested. You are escorted to your site, and it was pouring rain at the time; the poor guy was soaked but still very pleasant and helpful. My brother-in-law appreciated that he wasn't charged extra to park 2 motorcycles he brought in his toy hauler. We did notice plenty of parking for extra vehicles in the campground. The power, water pressure, and cable TV all worked well. This is a very nice, clean, well run campground, and we look forward to staying here again. We camped at Tremont Outdoor Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rocky Top Campground, Blountville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This was an overnight stay for us on the way home. Rocky Top is a great RV campground and we would have liked to have stayed a few days just because the owners are so nice and helpful. It is easy to find, very quiet, clean, well run, almost the perfect campground. If you are in the area you would be hard pressed to find a nicer play to stay. We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean, fairly quiet campground with beautiful grounds. Not as close to Colonial Williamsburg as we thought; about 20 minutes to get to the Visitors Center. Great place to stay in the Williamsburg area. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $76.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 8 nights in a premier site that was across from the dunes and the beach. You could here the surf inside our 5th Wheel even with the windows closed. It was a very nice, clean well run campground We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. As for the price, it was beach front and this is what it took to get an RV site with that kind of access. We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Lanier Islands Campground, Buford, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights with another couple who were in their travel trailer. The campground has a lot of trees, large sites and nice views of the lake. The campsites could use a little upkeep, most just need new gravel put down. But other than that it was a very nice and quiet campground. We all enjoyed staying there and you can't beat the access to Lake Lanier with full hookups. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake Lanier Islands Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We spent Memorial Weekend with 2 other campers; two 5th Wheels and one travel trailer. Us in our 33 ft 5th Wheel and the 29 ft Trailer had sites next to each other (139 & 140). The sites were gravel and fairly level. The picnic tables were on concrete. The campground was clean and well maintained. We all enjoyed our stay and discussed going back in the fall. If you want to stay in the Chattanooga area this is a nice quiet campground. We camped at Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
