Woodhaven Lakes, Sublette, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge campground, most campers own a permanent campsite, there are a small handful of sites for non-residents. We own our campsite and are very happy at Woodhaven. Our travel trailer is not there permanently we still pull it and camp in other places. What is nice about our lot is that our trailer is already. I can show up with a carload of kids, camp for a weekend and not have any of the hassle of pulling a trailer. We are in section 15, a more quiet section, the comfort station is normally clean and that is how we like it. Some of the other sections can get more lively, but we prefer peace. There is always plenty to do (rent boats, swim, mini golf, fish, nature activities, etc). My only complaints about Woodhaven is that parts can get very busy and there are a handful of campers that have no campground etiquette. Public Safety will intervene, but there is only so much they can do. We are very lucky to have great neighbors. If you are looking for a permanent spot to camp, Woodhaven is definitely worth checking out! We camped at Woodhaven Lakes in a Travel Trailer.

Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park, Jennings, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great for a overnight/quick visit. We stopped for 1 night on our way to Disney. Jennings was exactly what everybody needed. The kids enjoyed burning some energy at the park and at the pool. The grounds were clean and I loved the older trees. Even though it was next to the highway, we barley noticed. We would happily stay here again! We camped at Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park in a Travel Trailer.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $120.00
Overall Rating:

Expensive? Yes, but worth it! Campsites are clean and constantly maintained, after a camper leaves a cleaning crew comes in. They pick up any debris, rake, hose down the site. I never saw a trashy site. Comfort station is also clean, showers roomy and are very tidy. Loved all the amenities, but the pool is more geared toward younger kids. Camp stores have basic camping supplies and groceries. We rented a golf cart and it was worth every $, not only did it make getting around very convenient but the kids LOVED sitting in it, even when we weren't using it. The restaurants/quick service is all good and we can't wait to go back. A must for any camping/Disney loving family. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Springfield KOA, Rochester, Illinois

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a weekend in October and it was very nice. Plenty of signs telling you where to go, even after we missed a turn (navigators fault) we were able to find our way again very easily. Not a huge campground, but still nice. A simple park but good enough for the kids to play around on. My kids LOVED the bikes and since the campground wasn't crowded they could ride the bikes everywhere safely. Restrooms were always clean. We camped at Springfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.
