Whispering Oaks RV Park (Formerly Columbus KOA), Weimar, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

If not for poor water drainage issues, I would give this RV park an 8 because staff & owner super nice & friendly plus common areas very tidy. Laundry facilities extremely clean but a little stuffy. It rained 4 of the 5 days we were there. Efforts are made with gravel but compact product needed. We nicknamed this park "My Cousin Vinny's" when we heard the train whistle, only thing missing was the screeching owl :) Good halfway point for Austin - Houston.

Nice fenced in dog run. Pet owners picked up after dogs - 10 stars! Nice small town getaway. We camped at Whispering Oaks RV Park (Formerly Columbus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Triple C's Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee W', Chattahoochee, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV park! Wish we could stay longer & weather was better. The grounds were immaculate and the pool looked so inviting with the nearby outdoor kitchen & cabana. Pull thru sites need a long sewer hose. Ok with me, our outside area not on top of neighbors hookups. Perfect place to get away & be with nature. (Not a cement parking lot like so many newer RV "resorts".) The hosts were extremely helpful & efficient. We camped at Triple C's Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee W' in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a getaway gem, very peaceful. Didn't see much near as we were just stopping for the night.
