Low Country FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Charleston AFB, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very well maintained park however the noise factor is terrible due to aircraft traffic, the nearby gun range, trains and the base PA system. These go on all day and most of the night. Make sure to have waterproof boots to wear for days after heavy rains. Add to these things the highest nightly fee we have paid at any military campground and it is unlikely that we will stay here again. The good is that the hosts are great and the Charleston historic district is nearby. We camped at Low Country FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.
