Brookings RV Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

I read the review from "firedguy" posted back in 2010. The place couldn't have been in such bad condition seven years ago and still be bad... wrong!!! Seems like only a couple of over nighter spots left in the center of the park. 90% permanent, rundown rigs, with all of their "stuff" under and around the rigs. The cats are still running around wild, one of the perms next to us in an awesome older RV (read as almost flat tires and lots of rust) informed my wife that our dog would end up dead if she let him run loose? And lets not forget the constant din coming from the wood mill right next to this rv park. Just loud enough to be annoying unless you have ear buds in, or turn the TV up. BTW WiFi was good. and able to get 7 OTA channels. Keep Driving... Rather than stay at this park again...I'd drive up to Gold Beach 60 miles away if there was nothing else available in Brookings. We camped at Brookings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Chula Vista RV Resort, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

Great location in southern california. Sites were easy to park your rig in but there was not much room left to park my truck. There were tall shrubs between the sites which provided the illusion of privacy. Bike/walking path access next to the bay and marina. Very cool setting. WI-fi was actually pretty good for the number of "campers" at this park. While if was a little pricey at $90 night, but some of the other parks in this area were scary looking during day time recon drive-by. Spending our kids inheritance one park at a time... {GRIN} We camped at Chula Vista RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A Country RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. Read as: Clean, with easy to navigate streets and sites, fairly new look to it. Our only problem was that it was 106 degrees outside and there was not much shade on our site. Problem solved... Max A/C, hit the pool. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area again and needed a place to park for the night. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

JGW RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Decent park. some of the sites closer to I-5 get a bit of freeway noise. In the summer time you will probably have to run the a/c all night anyway. wi-fi can be kind of spotty. easy to maneuver, and park your rig in the sites that we have stayed in. Sacramento river runs along the west side of this park and is very picturesque. We camped at JGW RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Great RV park. Level concrete, full hook up sites. quiet, no road noise. Not too much to do arou... wait there is the Indian Casino, shuttle pickup at your site. not too shabby. If we feel the urge to hit the road and stay relatively close to home, this is our go to RV park. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We wanted a base camp for exploring the flagstaff \ Grand Canyon area. Stopped here because it had the only available sites in the area. I'll keep driving next time. Sites are gravel and dirt. Our site was not even close to being level. We had a large tree in our site that prevented us from deploying our awnings. WiFi was ok, and we could get 31 ota TV stations. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Good Life RV Resort (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Lots of activities, nice pool/spa area. Over the air TV stations were more than enough. Friendly helpful staff. The down side. . . Extremely tight spots, i normally don't have any issues backing my rig up, but they were very specific where the rig had to be. Narrow streets and location of palm trees and single wide permanent tenants made parking an ordeal. The wifi is non existent. We camped at Good Life RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
