Magnolia RV Park and Campground, Kinards, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

First, I was misled by previous reviews stating the lack of "road noise" from I26 which is adjacent to this campground. There is significant road noise. If you are willing to deal with that fact, everything else about the campground is very satisfactory. We stayed for 2 nights and hiked in the Sumter National Forest which is very close. Sites are gravel and ours was perfectly level. Staff was very accommodating & helpful. Restrooms were very clean. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect location for on/off highway. Large hill separates campground from hwy. greatly reduces road noise. Pull thru sites have gravel and are very level. We didn't use bath house but they were very clean. Quick checkin. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Benner's Meadow Run Camping & Cabins, Farmington, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights while visiting "Falling Waters". Park had some sites winterized & we had a good choice of sites. Roads to campground are quite hilly as is this whole area of Pa. Sites are very close so I wouldn't return in busy season. Staff is very helpful & friendly. We camped at Benner's Meadow Run Camping & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Bear Brook State Park, Deerfield, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed mid week in Sept 2018 so we had our pick of campsites. This is a dry camping park. Water is available at various locations in the campground. Very wooded so trees could be an issue depending on your size. We tow a 28 ft camper so only a few sites were suitable. We stayed in #30 which very accommodating,. Others would be #24, 29, 44 & 9. I would not recommend this park for a class A or large class C rigs. We paid $25/night; the showers are coin operated, so have a supply of quarters. We camped at Bear Brook State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Antique Village RV Park, Simsboro, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I was here just for an overnight. I was in B-36 a fairly level pull-thru site. There was a nice deck but no picnic table. No cable but local TV was good. The wifi was uncommonly fast, the best of any campground I have been in. It's convenient from interstate but road noise is not an issue. We camped at Antique Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Willcox RV Park, Willcox, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

There are several RV parks in this town to choose from. This is one of the few that does not back-up to Interstate 10 so road traffic noise is at a minimum. I paid a base rate of $25 after a AAA discount plus extra's for cable & pull-thru brought my total incl. tax to $35. Site was level & there are small trees between most sites. We stayed for one night. We camped at Fort Willcox RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Brantley Lake State Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived without a reservation on a Tuesday night just at sunset. Had called earlier & were told that we had a pretty good chance of getting one of the unreserved sites (#31-50). We got the last pull-thru, but, there were several other sites still available. Site was level and large. Mosquitoes were terrible after dark, but, seemed to be better in the morning. We left early & cannot report on the park. We camped at Brantley Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Saddleback Mountain RV Park, Balmorhea, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Traveling from San Antonio to AZ & needed a 1 night stop. This was perfect. They have plenty of sites in January with full hook-ups and close to Interstate 10 but the road noise is not too bad. Exit 212 and look for the Valero service station - RV park is behind. Park was clean & site level with stone. We camped at Saddleback Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
