First the good. Park is very clean and staff is first rate. There is a great little gift store and they serve you a continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. Now the not so good. Park has no pool and the therapy pool they advertise is nothing more than a large hot tub. The weight room is the size of a walk-in closet with nothing more than some outdated exercise bikes and an ab-lounge. Bottom line, this is a great stop over park in Las Cruces but it charges you a destination park price, and this is not a destination park by any stretch.

This is a great park. Some sites are a little tight but for the most part all are very nice. The staff are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. The bike trails around the lake are great and the fishing is always good. This little park is on my top 10 list of places to stay in America!

This park is in the process of being converted to a "sites for sale resort". The construction taking place is quite noisy during the day as well as the dust. There is nothing for kids to do here. There is a swim hole but it is quite dirty. The owners and staff are quite friendly and always willing to assist you. Be warned, there is a strict 5 mph speed limit in the park and if you violate it, be prepared to be kicked out of the park. I watched this happen twice during my stay at the park.
