Fall Creek Falls State Park, Spencer, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Another great State Park experience. Beautiful grounds, sites were nice and semi private with small concrete pads and a gravel drive. Only complaint would be the sites are steep and not level. It took quite a bit to get the RV true and level. We camped at Fall Creek Falls State Park in a Motorhome.

Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground), Lebanon, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Great family campground. We stayed in one of the deluxe sites, which have a larger cement pad, metal table and chairs, stainless propane grill, fire pit with gravel surround, wood benches and a swing. Sites were not too close, hookups were very good and the campground was clean and had lots of activity going on during the day for the kids including a pool, playground, grassy area, etc. Facilities were nice, clean and welcoming. There is also a ~15 mile bike trail nearby to explore/train on. The only downside is that the sites are a little pricey and they charge you additional fees for extra guests. All in all were were happy with our site and stay here and we will consider this campground again in the future. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

Highlands Hammock State Park, Sebring, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Another great Florida State Park camping experience for our family. We really liked this campground. We stayed here for the Heartland Triathlon. The race start was a short drive from here. In the park there is great biking, hiking, and a kids playground. The sites are nice and fairly well shaded. Pulling in with a big rig is a little tight, but doable. Try to get a pull through site if available and there are some nicer ones with concrete pads as well. We camped at Highlands Hammock State Park in a Motorhome.

Fort De Soto Campground, Tierra Verde, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of our favorite campgrounds to go in FL. We have camped here many times in both a tent and RV, and we have enjoyed it every time. Sites are beautiful, you feel like you are part of nature, the water views are awesome and the nearby beach, biking and the fort are fun for exploring. We camped at Fort De Soto Campground in a Motorhome.

Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Booked at this Campground while staying in the area for the Chattanooga 70.3. Booked because of what we read about Raccoon Mountain online with all of the cool amenities for the kids, pool, go carts, sports, etc. All of this was shut down and the pool under construction. Very dissatisfied with the experience here as a result. Campground is OK, sites are nice, but very close and not private. Also, cable TV did not work at all. Only redeeming thing for us was the Gem Panning, which was $$$, but at least the kids had a good memory of this camping trip. We camped at Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
