Our first time to this park. Very nice state park camping. This was beautiful cool crisp fall weekend. Park was not crowded at all due to off season. All facilities are in excellent repair and clean condition. Family oriented campground. Interior roads are paved..great for bike riding. Camp hosts where very nice folks. Went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. Did not see a bad site anywhere. We were on site 32 a huge pull through. Great trails and beach area.

We had a very nice fall camping weekend at this park. Restrooms were very clean and facilities in general were in excellent repair. We stayed on one of the pull-thru sites in the trees. (some might be tight to get an awning deployed...but not needed in the shade anyway.) Wifi had very strong signal. We could hear road noise in our Hybrid, but a small fan to create white noise masked it nicely. Very nice new playground equipment for the little kids. Excellent access to I-95 and every major retailer is just across the highway. We would highly reccommend and will stay again.

Very nice experience. Campground was easy to find. All facilities were in very good repair. Very nice new store/office and restroom building. Camp host escorted us to our site since we arrived after dark. Camp hosts throughout our stay were very nice. Our rate was for W/E and includes 2 kids. Be sure and ride the trolly in Fredricksburg.

We had a very nice weekend. The facilities are in good repair. Restrooms/showers adjacent to the office/store were remodeled since our last visit. Pool was very nice. Many of the W-E-S sites behind the office are very close together. We saw several that could not put out their awnings due to close proximity of neighbor's trailers. Looks like greed on the owners part to fit as many as they can into limited space. Watch for the tight turns. We witnessed a set of big bus wheels come within a few inches of a tent on the corner. Scary! Shirtless drunk guys, carrying open Bud Light cans in the office at 9:30AM..no one said a word. Very busy weekend. We will return in off season

This was a shakedown trip for our new RV and first trip with our dog. We chose Yogi/Luray because it is close to our home. Very nice campground and staff. We were there on Chocolate Lovers weekend. Lot's of activities for the kids. Candy Bar Bingo was fun! Water slide and pool were great, although a bit cold, since early in the season. "Ranger Smith" escorted us to our site and pointed out utility locations. ( They all really wear the ranger hats)! All utilities worked fine. Restrooms were spotless even though park was busy. Campground is well cared for. Recent landscaping and parking lot renovations at the front entrance. It was great weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We never left the campground to see the sights of Luray. Too much to do inside the campground! We have been camping for 15+ years and this is first time to Yogi/Luray. Wish we had gone sooner. We will be back in June.

We were here for the last operating weekend for Kings' Dominion. The shuttle to the park ran all day both days. It was very convenient. It was a really cold weekend, (22 degrees F), so we were glad to find a Wal-mart at the next exit south on I-95 for warmer supplies. Restrooms were clean and heated. We did hear the train a few times but were so tired from our day in the amusement park, it did not affect our sleep. The big attraction is the amusement park next door. The campground was not crowded but looks as if it could be during summer season. Easy acess off I-95. We will be back.
