Bear Den RV Resort , Grangeville, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Visiting friends in the area. Stayed here 2 nights in a travel trailer. Friendly, helpful staff. Very well maintained park located on a hill with great views of the surroundng prairie. Large, very clean bathroom/shower combination and lots of them. There is also laundry facilities at very reasonable rates. Lots of pull thru sites. Reasonable in length with full hookups, Wifi and Cable TV. Wifi was good. Small area of grass between sites, but noticed there was no picnic tables at any of the sites. It is a seasonal park so maybe the tables had been put away for the winter. There was a great area to exercise Fido. Wish more parks offered a pet area. Definitely recommend a stay here if in the area. We camped at Bear Den RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Crawford RV Park, Scottsboro, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Passport America. FHU, free WiFi and cable, both of which were very good, but NO park bathrooms or showers!! One reason our rating of park is marginal. You must be fully self contained. The park is on a side hill & spaces are terraced with a few pull thrus on the lower right side. Our site was level with "privacy" trees on each side. Others had a fence between sites. Majority of units are full-timers and some looking like they have been there for some time. Lots of "stuff" around their space. Highly recommend to call to be sure a space is available. It appeared their "transient" sites were extremely limited. It is an ok place for a night or two. We camped at Crawford RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro is a great place to spend part of a day. 40,000 sq ft to browse thru. Only store in the country that purchases unclaimed baggage from airlines and then resells or donates items in the baggage. Fun place.

Pine Log State Forest Recreation Area, Ebro, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Small campground. 20 sites. 18 are sites reserveable, 2 are 1st come 1st served. Majority of sites around a small pond that had 2 fishing piers. Nice to have concrete pads, but just long enough for our 35 trailer. Not alot of space for Tow vehicle off pad. Tree location gave parking & leaving a challenge. We had to back out of our "pull through" space. It wasn't a problem, but could have been if we pulled through the space w/ where trees were. Bathrooms & showers cleaned every morning. Dump station available. Verizon cell service good. Several OATV channels. Lots of great hiking trails, including one with a boardwalk that goes thru an amazing Cypress swamp. Florida state trail also thru the park. We would definitely state here again. We camped at Pine Log State Forest Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Azalea Acres RV Park, Robertsdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean & well maintained. All Pull thru sites. Open with no shade. Easy in & out. No picnic table at our site, not that it was a problem, but all others had one. Grass between sites. Appeared like there were some long term units, but all well kept up. Would give a higher rating, but some rules regarding pets were unreasonable... i.e. pets had to be leashed from the vehicle to trailer, even it was a distance of a few feet. Didnt even have time to get a leash on our dog or even kindly told about their rule & felt like we were being the riot act & unwelcome. Barking dog all night in space next to us would seem to be a bigger problem, but was last night there for us so just let it be. Lots of other parks around the area to pick from. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
