Sentinel Peak RV Park, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed before and will continue to come back to this great RV park. The location is outstanding and it's so close to Downtown and the University of Arizona. We did the light rail this last time and it was AWESOME! We've staying in many Tucson RV parks over the years, but this place is our first choice. It's always clean and the customer service is top notch. If you're staying in Tucson, this is the place to be. We camped at Sentinel Peak RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sentinel Peak RV Park, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

As many others have said, the customer service, cleanliness, and location of this park are SUPERB. We've stayed at many RV parks in Tucson over the years and this is our new favorite. Before we checked in, we looked at all the things to do in the area and you are literally so close to everything. We came to see the Gem Show at the convention center (about 2 minutes away by car) and wound up exploring so much more. We checked out the light rail which was AWESOME. It takes you through all these neat areas of downtown and the food options are endless. They have a free shuttle too which is great if you don't have a toad, but we preferred to walk everywhere since the weather was so nice and everything was within a few blocks anyway. We camped at Sentinel Peak RV Park in a Motorhome.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is VERY close to Meteor Crater and is the best location to stay if you are checking out the area. We've stayed here several times over the years and always look forward to returning. They have a SUPER convenient store on site with gas and food items and have a great front office team. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The visitor center at Meteor Crater has some great exploratory exhibits for adults and kids alike. I definitely recommend doing the 5 minute introduction video as a warm-up to the visitor center and to hear a brief history on the crater and how it was formed.

Campland On The Bay, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $105.00
Overall Rating:

This is a family friendly park that has become an annual tradition for our family. The private beach and the close proximity to things to see and do in San Diego is excellent. We really liked exploring the Old Town and there's a park within walking distance with a playground if you have kids. We camped at Campland On The Bay in a Motorhome.
