7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

About a 1/4 mile of good gravel road to enter the park, but otherwise no issues with getting in and parking. Staff was VERY nice and suggested attractions in the area. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearby Little Bighorn National monument was an incredible experience. If you arrive late, go do the battleground drive-through self-guided tour (closes at 8pm). Stops along the way have audio that you connect to via your cell phone. Then, go back at 8am the next day and catch the 8:30 movie and the 9am Ranger talk about the battle. You can easily get back for the 11am checkout from the park. The Visitor Center opens at 8am.

Devils Tower KOA, Devils Tower, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel sites were virtually level, clean, with grass patio. Sewer on our site (#13) was too far from the electrical/water to hook up simultaneously unless you have a very long hose and caterpillar support, but worked for dumping when ready to leave.

A tip to the park manager: Unfortunately, This KOA is similar to others with high-end pricing, possibly due to the many amenities that we don't need or ever use. I suggest you offer structured pricing for those looking for a simple overnight place to park. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging, Niagara Falls, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights while visiting in the area. This is NOT a premium RV park, although premium prices are being charged due to proximity to the Falls. Relative to site quality, proximity to other campers, available patio amenities, shade, etc., this should be a $36/night park. We camped at Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging in a Motorhome.

Heritage RV Park, Augusta, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Having arrived 2 hours past office closing, a call to the number on the office door scored us an excellent pull-through site for the evening. The park host, was very helpful and accommodating. Sites are gravel, most are end-to-end, pull-in or back-in. Some road noise during morning commute, but not objectionable as Park is not on a major highway. Full-hookup facilities in excellent shape; new. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Downtown Riverside RV Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a City owned park and is an excellent value. This was our 3rd stay at the park, and we would go back again when passing through Little Rock. Be sure to get a river-view pull-in space ... the view is amazing, especially at night. Room for your tug behind the rig. Traffic over nearest bridge is steady, but sounds like ocean breakers along the coast of California and is nice to listen to at night. No tables, grass and limited shade, but worth the stop. I rated "service" as satisfactory as you really don't interact with the host except to register. This is a gated park with a code access after hours, so security is good as well. Full hook-ups along the river sites. No tables, but grass along the river. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not a whole lot to do in the area unless you drink beer. Downtown River Market area on the other side of the Arkansas river is nice, but a little spooky at night. The Klinton Library is nearby as are many pubs and restaurants. The deluxe Chicken sandwich at David's Burgers on the corner is the best anywhere (get it maxed out with trimmings). There is also an international food court if you like something more exotic.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is the cleanest park we've ever stayed at ... it appears new! All sites are wide, long pull-through's with plenty of room between. They have a pizza kitchen and a small store. Friendly staff, close to the freeway, but not so close as to hear it. Highly recommended! We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We picked this park as it was generally close to the Caverns, and Wal-Mart (shopping). Staff is very friendly and accommodating helping to find us a space in a full park when we had to change our reservation. The park is quiet, sites very clean (gravel), and hook-ups easy to connect to with threaded sewer drains. Water pressure is strong and a regulator is a must. It gets a little cramped when full, as pull-throughs are long and get doubled-up end-to-end. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
