Betty's RV Park, Abbeville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We almost did not go to this Park, but Oh how glad we did. I guess we had the most fun that we have had since we bought our RV. Our site was fine, utilities were great and Betty just makes it a perfect l0. If you need showers, laundry and swimming pool, don't go, but if you want to have a great time, try this park. I do not remember the nightly rate, so I just put down 25. I am just too lazy to get up and find the bill, but it was the same as everyone else. We camped at Betty's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

French Quarter RV Resort, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

We had a great site in the middle of the campground. However had we been closer to I-10, that could have impacted my scoring as we were never bothered by traffic noise. Everyone working at the French Quarter Park was terrific. My wife and I felt safe, we really enjoyed this park. All utilities were excellent, sites had pavers and the grass was excellent. If we get a chance to come back to this area, we will definitely stay here again. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is our favorite campground, as long as we don't visit during the summer months. As others have stated most of the sites are concrete and all have picnic tables. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi that is available for extra dollars at your campsite. This service is disgraceful and you would be just as well off to take your money and throw it into the air and let the wind blow it away. In my opinion a campground of this size should offer free Wi-Fi to the entire park. However if they insist that you have to pay, then it should be something that provides a decent service for your money. Now they do offer free Wi-Fi at the Sandy Mart, but that is a hassle to have to carry your computer there every time you want to check something on the computer. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cave Country RV Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are two of the nicest owners that we have met. The campground is clean, the sites are wide and long. Excellent campground, would definitely stay here again. As others have stated there are trains, but we did not hear them at night. Either we were sleeping soundly or the trains were not running during the night. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here September and October '09 and unlike previous report, I did not see any trash. Not only do they provide trash pickup at your site, they also have people in pickup trucks that also stop and pickup any loose trash or paper that may have escaped. With concrete pads, all pull throughs, and on the beach, this is my favorite campground. I personally avoid this campground during the summer months, only because it is so popular with families. I just prefer to wait until school is back in session. This campground (in my opinion) is so far ahead of any other campground in this area, that there is no comparison. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Gunsmoke RV Park, Dodge City, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access off Hwy 50, easy check in. We were in back side with pull through sites. These sites are approximately 90 feet long and nice and wide. The electric was very good, the wi-fi and cable were excellent. This is a gravel area which was no problem, but I did not give a l0 because of not being paved. One of the better campgrounds that we have stayed in on our trip. There was some train noise in the early morning, but no worse than a lot of campgrounds we have stayed at in in the West. We camped at Gunsmoke RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We had a nice pull through site with plenty of room. I would have given this park a rating of l0, but on the 3rd day the 4 wheelers arrived. Now if you go to ride 4 wheelers this park would be heaven, but if you don't like dust you better not stay here. We had kids doing donuts on 4 wheelers in front of our site. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
