Amarillo Best Wonderland RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

I did not like the conditions of the roads which were rutted, pothole, and full of tree branches and uneven at best. The site was not long enough and had to unhook tow vehicle to park. Observed other sites parking in empty sites next to them which would be a problem for someone coming in and setting up late at night if a vehicle were parked in your assigned site. With barking dogs, vehicles driving fast and cutting between empty sites, I felt permanent sites could do what they want but transit overnighters were held to a stricter standard. The sites were very uneven and I had to back up a hill to rehook. I would not stay here again since management doesn't seem to be interested in repairing the roads or they would have done it by now. We camped at Amarillo Best Wonderland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Comanche Campground, Stinnett, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The person whom I dealt with was professional and yet friendly & personable. She made sure every thing was to my expectations and put me in a quiet spot that was very manageable for me to pull into since I am a newbie to RVing I stayed in a 32 ft travel trailer for a couple of days and enjoyed my stay. I will stay again when in this area.

The sites are pull thru and long enough for a tow vehicle to be included

However the door of the travel trailer to be accessible to the cement patio pad, creates connectivity problems on the sewer connection side even with a long hose. We camped at Comanche Campground in a Travel Trailer.
